.No free breakfast.Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Convenient and quiet. Light did not work above vanity even after maintenance worked on it.
Cons: Serve free coffee at 6 AM.
Location: Near Patriots' Point and Middleton Plantation.
Pillows are all same oversized. Expensive motel for no breakfast.

A comfortable place to stay.Posted Aug 29, 2013
Cons: It was hard to find the entrance because it is off a side road. More signage would help because the roads are confusing.
Location: I love the new bridge; it takes you right down into the historic district. The nearby parks are incredible! Fishing and strolling along the piers.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The pool area was exceptionally well-maintained and I thoroughly enjoyed cooling off there every afternoon! I had breakfast there, but no other meals on the premises. The breakfast was very good and the price was competitive with other restaurants in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Should have asked to change rooms when we went into ours. The carpet felt damp. The room smelled musty. When we came home had to wash all clothes even what we didn't wear because they all smelled musty. Some of the downstairs furniture was filthy looking. The staff and pool were lovely but the pool deck had some trash left around that was there the day we arrived. Location was good and they took dogs.

The room we stayed in smelt like someone just smoked in it. It was awful.

Nice hotel near downtown and northern beachesPosted Aug 19, 2013
Cons: Layout of pool entrance. Nicer couch in suites.
Location: Downtown Charleston is really close. Sullivan's Island is also really close. Both are super fun, historic, lively places to be.
The decor seemed to be relatively new. I liked the theme for the most part. However, I was not as impressed by our junior suite as I was hoping to be. The couch was 'stiff,' and the TV had little channel selections. I like to play the music channels while getting ready, and these channels were not in the cable selection. The staff was really nice, and the pool was relatively clean. However, I did not like walking through the breakfast buffett in my bikini to get to the pool on Sunday AM.
