Great staff!
Posted Jan 3, 2013
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Easy to get to both downtown Charleston and the beaches
Very pleased with the hotel staff as well as the condition of the hotel. The location made it easy to enjoy both downtown Charleston and the beaches, without paying the high prices for some of the hotels in those areas. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when whether giving directions or recommending restaurants. The pool is small but quite nice. The complimentary breakfast was the usual fare...not terribly exciting, but sufficient to start out the day.

Extremely helpful and friendly. The place smelled great, looked clean, and had fantastic breakfast. They even had free drinks in the evening. Not sure when we'll be back in Charleston, but would have to stay here.

GREAT STAY
Posted Jan 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was clean and spacious. Area where the hotel was a quiet and fast food literally next door if you wanted a quick bite. The staff was friendly and courteous. It was nice to hop downstairs for a quick FREE breakfast snack (fruits and cereals along with hot meals). They, also, offered a lil evening appetizer at 530-7 with drinks. Gym was a lil small. They had a treadmill, bike, and an elliptical. I must say they did extend a pass to a local gym if I required more, but for the short stay the equipment they had was more than sufficient. Overall a really great stay. Definitely two thumbs up for this stay.

I loved the location. Minutes from Downtown Charleston, many shops near by, the breakfast was great, and the beds were super comfy. I will stay here again.

Great place to stay! Location wasn't the greatest, but the views going into Charleston were worth it!

Accidental great stay!

My daughter had a volleyball tournament in N. charleston this past weekend and we had initially booked a room at the Hilton garden inn because it was right next to the convention center (where the tournament took place). Rooms were booked far in advance but we found out 2 nights before that we would need to stay an extra night. The Hilton of course was full so we decided to stay at the holiday inn. It was a great stay, from the staff to the room everything exceeded our expectations! However when we checked into the Hilton the next day we weren't so impressed and wished we had stayed at the holiday inn the whole trip! It was much better than the Hilton which was about $50 more a night.
