“"great place to stay"”

The staff was very friendly and extremely courteous. The entire hotel and of course the rooms were clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was the best I've experienced,a definate reason to come back. Very pleased, 5 Stars

“Extremely Pleasant Stay”

My hotel stay could not have been more pleasant. Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean, and nice for the price. It even had a mini kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, and cabinets). It was conveniently located next to a few restaurants and shopping areas, and it's right off of 26, so it's not too difficult to get downtown or to the Tanger Outlet. Highly recommended.

I booked this hotel enroute to Charleston as a last minute get-away. No rooms were available in historic section. This was a great find....only at 12-15 min drive from downtown Charleston...easy access to highway. Hotel and room were exceptionally clean. Staff was very helpful. Standard fare breakfast was very adequate...only lacked microwave to warm muffins/pastry.

I haven't experienced such wonderful hospitality in a long time. The staff was very friendly and helped us with attractions and restaurants in the area. I would love to stay at this same hotel again if possible!!

The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful from check-in, to check-out. Location and parking were great. Extremely happy with the cleanliness and size of the room and bathroom. The beds were good and comfy too. Check out was also noon, which makes wake-up really pleasant.

“Charleston stay”

Service was very good. Everyone was very helpful. They were in at the tail end of renovations but that didn't hinder our stay.

It was great!! The staff was really friendly! One staff even had fresh baked cookies that were delicious! They have snacks and wine in the evenings too! I would highly recommend this hotel! We had a pleasant stay here! P.S Charleston is beautiful!!! I highly recommend the Italian restaurant next door but stay away from the Denny's!!! It was poorly kept and unsanitary conditions at Denny's!

“Very clean and friendly”

We were there for the Cooper River Bridge Run and it was extremely busy with 44,000 runners in town. The Holiday Inn Express did a great job with accomidations and also friendly service. The ladies that served the complimentary breakfast did an awesome job. They were really busy keeping everything stocked but they did it with a smile. Looking forward to staying there again.

“The best hotel I have stayed in for a long time.”

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in recently. The people are great, the morning kitchen staff was especially helpful and flexible. The room cleaning staff was very courteous and efficient. I can't say enough how they made my stay exceptional. The towels and the sheets were fresh. The rooms were very clean , the hotel had a fresh smell. everything was great. The free internet was essential and worked great. The cable tv was excellent. lots of channels. Plenty of hot water. The construction of the hotel was excellent because the rooms were very quiet all night. This is perhaps the biggest plus for me.
