“A Pleasant Surprise”

My experience at Home2 Suites in Charleston was fantastic. Immediately upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly staff and a clean, attractive lobby. My room was immaculate and was well furnished with a couch, a 42 inch flat screen TV and a large, comfortable bed. There are plenty of electrical outlets in the room to charge my computer and other electronic devices. The complimentary internet was very slow, however. This is one of only two complaints; the other being the lack of a shuttle service FROM the airport (they do have shuttle service, but at the time of my stay, they are not authorized to pick up guests at the airport). The person at the front desk was apologetic and assured me that the are in the midst of getting approval from the airport for at shuttle. Each morning between 6 and 9, the hotel provides a complimentary breakfast that includes a choice of cereal, bagels, doughnuts, and an assortment of beverages. It also provides a nice opportunity to meet the other guests, many of which were attending the conference I was visiting for. Every night when I returned to my room, I found that the beds had been made, my towels were replenished and the bathroom was cleaned. The maids are very pleasant and greeted me each morning with a smile and a "good morning, sir". It's small things like that that made my stay a pleasant one. All in all, my stay at Home2 suites was thoroughly enjoyable and I recommend anyone staying in the North Charleston area to consider them.

“Quick reservations”

We needed a room just for one night unexpectedly and this stay was just perfect for us. Everything was good, the only negative was they couldn't find the baggage carts. They said they had two but could not find them when we checked in or when we left the next morning.

“Family of Four”

Our stay was very delightful. The facilities are very clean and kept up nicely. Our room was superb with a very comfortable bed. Also the room is functionally sufficient for many practical uses including partial kitchen, spacious storage and clean bathroom. 5 Stars!!

“Hotel good for business travlers”

The staff is really upbeat about this new concept. The room is clean and there is a large table space available to work on your office projects, etc. I will return as a guest anytime that I am in the area.

“fabulous”

This hotel was fabulous, from the staff to the rooms to the fitness and pool areas. Its more than we could have asked for at this price point. Everytime im near a homes2 i will be staying there. The only negative was the breakfast seating area was small, but it was a full house and seemed to run smoothly. Just hard to find a seat.

“Nice new concept for a hotel”

We loved this hotel. The rooms are very cleverly designed to be more than a place to sleep. We were in Charleston for a week, and the room was so comfortable. Had a nice sitting area, a desk to set up our computer, nice kitchen, and lots of room for our "stuff". And the contemporary design was so refreshing. Very nice breakfast in the mornings, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Also liked the hotel's efforts to be "green" with recycling and more conservative housekeeping. The location was very convenient for Charleston and all it has to offer. Would definitely recommend.
