RoachesPosted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: The breakfast and dinner they offered each day included in the price was nice.
Cons: Replace the mattress on the sofa coaches and spray the rooms better.
Location: The location is close to the beach about a 5 min ride 10 min ride to down town Charleston and lotsv of stores and restaurants near by.
We found roaches crawling around on the ceiling in the kitchen in the middle of the night. Also the sleeper sofa my children had to sleep on was horrible uncomfortable.

Lovely locationPosted May 27, 2015
Pros: Environment and location
Cons: It could use some updates, repairs (e.g. none of the bedroom lights or fan worked and the toilet tissue holder was about to fall out of the wall).
Location: 2 miles to the beach and Isle of Palms, as well as Charleston, yet secluded in a private, wooded setting
Lovely location in a wooded development blending into the environment, which included residential as well as shops and restaurants with outdoor dining experiences. Also the convenience of a Target on location, as well as a Kangaroo store for fuel. Beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature and a slow pace. Loved outdoor dining.

Pros: The bed ( King size) was very comfortable. Liked having a TV room separate from bedroom with very thick double doors between. .
Cons: Furniture in sitting room was uncomfortable. I think we were given a smoking room because we had dogs. Didn't like the smell.
Location: There was a good hamburger cafe nearby. We mostly went into Charleston for the history.
We enjoyed staying here because it was located close to each Island we visited. Bed was so comfortable! There was a good hamburger cafe across the street. We would definitely stay here again! We appreciate Pet Friendly hotels!!!

Great location, great hotel!Posted May 11, 2015
We had a wonderful stay at Homewood Suites! It was clean, the staff were all polite, especially the woman that was in charge of the Mother's day "free" breakfast buffet. She was hustling around trying to anticipate all the guests needs and was delightful!! I purchased some Aleve and a soft drink Sunday morning and the sweet gal at the front desk who checked me out was kind enough to say she hoped the Aleve helped my back, she had a customer waiting on the phone but still took the time to be kind to me and not rush me off. It is the little things that made our experience great. It was our first time staying in a pet friendly hotel and were a bit nervous but it was Wonderful to take our dog with us and find all the dogs were so well behaved! We were pleasantly surprised at the darling little shopping area and nice walking path around a pond, peaceful and "happening" place. We will be back!!

Room 118Posted Mar 29, 2015 on Hotels
Great location, room doors slamming makes too much noise up and down the halls. I had 4 air condition units outside by bed room window with a bright flood light shining in my bedroom. Coffee was great, food was poor to fair at best. If dogs brother you stay away.

Nice placePosted Mar 17, 2015 on Hotels
This was a great hotel. We stayed in three different hotels during this trip, and this one was by far the best. It was clean. The room was really nice with a separate sleeping area from the sitting area/kitchen. It is right by a shopping center so there is food and a Target right there.

Worst house keeper everPosted Mar 12, 2015 on Hotels
All the other things are good expect the house keeper. For the second day, they did not clean my room. And after I checked out, I found out that I left my Mia 2 face cleaning brush in the room( worth about $150), but when I called back, they said they can not find it. So try not to left anything behind, you probably can never get it back.

The location is the ONLY reason I would recommend.Posted Mar 12, 2015
Hotel is in disrepair. Elevator didn't work no one thought to put a sign up. Room was dirty. Furniture/carpets worn. Utensils in kitchen on check in were filthy with food on them as if last guest ate pie and put fork back in drawer. Maid didn't bother to clean kitchen between guests. Floor in kitchen had crumbs on check in.
