We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and restaurants, historical places of interest, market and tours are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is lovely with very attentive staff. The bedroom was large with excellent amenities and was spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast was of a very high standard and wine and cheese was available in the evenings.

On arrival we were greeted with an offer of Wine and afternoon tea. This stay showed Southern hospitality at its best, nothing was too much trouble. There are several different room types according to individual taste. The inn serves home cooked breakfasts differing every morning but will also accommodate individual requirements to suit. Very well equipped bathroom with whirlpool and really comfy bed.
I would not hesitate to recommend this inn.

Have tried several hotels over the past 4 years while my daughter has been a student in Charleston....finally fell in love with Zero George Street! Everything and everyone was effortlessly charming. Old world yet fresh...could have been a small hotel in Europe with lovely details of gas lights, dripping wax candles, freshly baked treats and gourmet coffee lovingly offered by Irina for breakfast, and fine wine in the evening...all surprisingly complimentary. Completely delightful! I hope to return soon and often.

A very nice hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated with luxurious bed, free WiFi, writing desk and Keurig coffee maker. The staff are friendly and helpful. A laundry room is available. This was our first visit to Charleston and we would definitely stay here whenever in the area.

"Wonderful luxury hotel in the heart of Charleston"
A girls' trip to Charleston was made even better by our stay at the HarbourView Inn. The central location was perfect, the rooms were large with quiet, effective air conditioning-a must since the humidity made it feel like 97 degrees in September! The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom large enough for 3 of us to share. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace, wine and cheese in the afternoon, cookies and milk in the evening. Who could ask for more?

Perfect spot, close to waterfront and market. Friendly staff, who were terrific in offering assistance at every opportunity. Roof top bar was very nice too. Valet parking is a must! The hotel rooms are on both sides of the street, which was a little confusing at first. We were in the older, non renovated building, and our bathroom could have used some updating but very comfy room.
