The French Quarter Inn and its staff are outstanding. From the well appointed rooms, to the continental breakfast, champagne, and wine reception, to the exceptional staff. This is my favorite hotel of any I've stayed in.

On arrival we were greeted with an offer of Wine and afternoon tea. This stay showed Southern hospitality at its best, nothing was too much trouble. There are several different room types according to individual taste. The inn serves home cooked breakfasts differing every morning but will also accommodate individual requirements to suit. Very well equipped bathroom with whirlpool and really comfy bed.
I would not hesitate to recommend this inn.

Have tried several hotels over the past 4 years while my daughter has been a student in Charleston....finally fell in love with Zero George Street! Everything and everyone was effortlessly charming. Old world yet fresh...could have been a small hotel in Europe with lovely details of gas lights, dripping wax candles, freshly baked treats and gourmet coffee lovingly offered by Irina for breakfast, and fine wine in the evening...all surprisingly complimentary. Completely delightful! I hope to return soon and often.

"Wonderful luxury hotel in the heart of Charleston"
A girls' trip to Charleston was made even better by our stay at the HarbourView Inn. The central location was perfect, the rooms were large with quiet, effective air conditioning-a must since the humidity made it feel like 97 degrees in September! The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom large enough for 3 of us to share. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace, wine and cheese in the afternoon, cookies and milk in the evening. Who could ask for more?

The staff was very helpful and attentive. This was a charming hotel very convenient to the historic district attractions. We never got the car out of the lot - we walked everywhere during our 2-day visit to Charleston.
