This inn reminded me of boutique hotels in Europe

This relatively small property is conveniently located to the historic district and to the best restaurants in Charleston. Parking is a breeze. It has comfortable seating areas for those times of day that you want to sit and read.

Great location to College of Charleston, historic downtown Charleston, and public transportation. Very friendly and informative staff. Only detraction was some restoration but it did not impact the overall positive experience.

Nice hotel in downtown area

Posted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: The location was great and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Everything was good. Of course, I would love complimentary breakfast, but that's just wishful thinking.
Location: Near King street, a few minutes from the city market. Basically, a 15 minute walk from most major attractions downtown.
The hotel was conveniently located downtown, walking distance to just about everything you would want to see. The room itself was very comfortable, especially the beds. The staff working there were friendly. And even though they did not have a fitness center, they had an arrangement with a gym around the gym for a very reasonable price. All in all, a very nice stay.

Great location on Meeting Street in Charleston.

Pros: Charming....the staff was very helpful
Location: In the heart of the historic district.
I like the hotel, but acess to the rooms is difficult because there are lots of stairs and the elevator is not conveniently located. Just keep that in mind if you have knee problems or dificulty walking.
