“low cost but acceptable”

The room was clean, but the furniture in the room left something to be desired. One drawer was broken and the edge of the desk was destroyed.

“Hotel from My Name is Earl”

We travelled from the Detroit area and still found this hotel to be a bit scary. The front desk is behind bullet proof glass. There are obviously people living out of these motels. The room was very clean but seemed not so well kept. The bed was very uncomfortable. The rate was very good but apparently you get what you pay for.

“Well the rates were good.”

I know, it's the beach. Why is it that hotels in beach towns feel that they can charge more and provide less? Anyway, if your on a budget, don't mind rooms decorated in early Dollar General motif, then this hotel was OK. I rarely spend time in the room anyway.

“Best reason: inexpensive”

If the carpet had been vacuumed after the last time it was occupied, then the hotel needs a new vacuum. Tub needed replacing - damage that almost looked like a worn out, hand-sized patch in the side. Grout around lavatory had a loop onto the counter. Ice & vending in office, can be a bit of a walk from the 2nd or 3rd buildings.

“a drug and prostitution hotel.”

My family was asked if we wanted some drugs. Drunks were hanging around. My daughters and I were propositioned for sex. The power blew in the rooms by using the microwaves and the water was messed up.

“Kathy baits wasnt as scary”

The hotel sucked in every area. The ceiling was falling in, holes in the walls, dresser drawer falling apart, stains on walls and carpet, and no security lock on door. Scary people hanging around top and bottom walk ways, police patrolling the parking lot. Afraid for my life!!

“Terrible”

The room that me and my girlfriend were assigned was in terrible conditions. My first impression was very disapointing because the hallways and the stairs were full of flies and garbage; it also had a very unpleasant smell. The bathroom had cigarrette stains on the toilet seat and the bath tub. The toilet seat was so unsanitary I did not even considerated placing toilet paper on it to use it. One of the towels had a baby cockroach on it. The bed sheets were dirty; they had hair and stains on them. I was very unsatisfied, I had to check out that same night;I had to leave and pay for another hotel.

“HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE”

I'm just going to list the top 5 things about this TERRIBLE hotel!! It really should be condemned!! 1) Fleas in the bed (visible) 2) The floors were SOAKED from the A/C (had to wear flip flops while walking int he room) 3) The A/C did NOT work 4) There was a crack in the door so big that light shown through it 5) No dead bolt on the door It was so bad, that I asked to be moved to another room and it was just as bad as the first room. I finally asked for a refund and left without staying one single night. Don't waste your money or time on this one.

“Completely Not Impressed”

We rented two rooms at this Inn and were dissatsified with both rooms. When we entered the rooms we noticed the sheets and bed linen were dirty (and in one of the rooms there was dried blood or ketchup on the sheets), the toilet was flooded, the room smelled, and it was in a very bad area. but we stayed to rest for a couple of hours (thank goodness we brought covers for our long trip) because we had been driving for 8hrs and then checked out. They didn't charge us for the nights we did not stay (so that was a plus). This was a terrible experience and we will never stay there again and Expedia should really think about taking them off of their list.
