I had a single queen bed room but it was combortable the room a little small with too kids but they liked the little bed in corner they loved the view it was very nice the breakfast was good

An excellent Inn for staying when you need only a room . The continental breakfast was a little short of most but there is a Hardee's next door.

“Will definitely stay in again”

First time staying in one of your properties, very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly. Will stay again and will be booking in other area, when I travel.

“Micro... as in small”

We have stayed here a couple of times as we have driven through Charleston. If you are simply looking for a clean, convenient place to stay, this is it. The price is better than most hotels/motels in (overpriced) Charleston, so if the bottom line is a consideration, you may want to look this way. This is not a luxury spot. The room is small (MICROtel). There aren't many amenities. But it is clean, the staff is nice and the beds are comfy.

“Modest”

The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous. The king bed room was just about big enough to fit the bed. There was a small sized built-in table with one chair. The bathroom was a decent size but the shower floor was not recessed and had a curtain (stall not a tub/shower). The floor outside of the shower would get wet (even with a towel down) and since the tile was very smooth, the floor was slippery. Overall a decent place and okay for the money.

“No Problem”

The room is small but that's what a Microtel is. Most importantly it was clean and plumbing worked. Fine for an overnight.

“A decent place to sleep on the road.”

First, the positives. If you are traveling and just want to jump off the interstate and get straight back on the road in the morning, this place is great. No traffic, no congestion. You aren't in the middle of a shopping center, business park or downtown area. That can be a negative, of course, but in our case the access was great. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly, courteous and helpful. He gets an A+ On the other hand, in spite of what seems to be a fairly recent facelift, the hotel still looks a bit dingy. The room was clean enough, but certainly not spotless. It is a Microtel. If you don't know what that means think "micro". Rooms are about like cabins on ships. Tiny, compact. Fine if you are just looking to grab a night's rest and be gone. Not the place you would want to spend your vacation. Breakfast was a typical small continental fare. Nothing to write home about. For the money, there isn't much here. Not a great value, but priced comparably to others in the area.

“OK, but not great”

My wife, 1 year old son and I traveled over 6 hours and just needed a place to sleep. I reserved the evening of the trip with Expedia and as always was good. We arrived at Microtel and checked in without incident. We were ready to lay down for some sleep when we opened up the door to our room. We noticed first thing that the bed was very, very small for a queen size bed. Not feeling like making a big deal of it, we went ahead and laid down and fell asleep. When checking out the next morning, I mentioned to the attendant at the front desk that we reserved a queen size bed and was kind of shrugged off and told sternly that the room we stayed in had a queen size bed and refused to talk about it. I am a customer service expert and was apalled at the treatment of the attendant. Although the room was clean, the refusal of the attendant made up my mind that we will not stay in a Microtel again.

“Scary!!!!1”

The room look like an hospital bedroom, the bed was a full size and you can hear you neighbour having sex. for breakfast you will have only a bagel and a very bad coffee. Terrible experience for the price we paid.
