“A decent place to sleep on the road.”
First, the positives. If you are traveling and just want to jump off the interstate and get straight back on the road in the morning, this place is great. No traffic, no congestion. You aren't in the middle of a shopping center, business park or downtown area. That can be a negative, of course, but in our case the access was great.
The gentleman at the counter was very friendly, courteous and helpful. He gets an A+
On the other hand, in spite of what seems to be a fairly recent facelift, the hotel still looks a bit dingy. The room was clean enough, but certainly not spotless. It is a Microtel. If you don't know what that means think "micro". Rooms are about like cabins on ships. Tiny, compact. Fine if you are just looking to grab a night's rest and be gone. Not the place you would want to spend your vacation. Breakfast was a typical small continental fare. Nothing to write home about.
For the money, there isn't much here. Not a great value, but priced comparably to others in the area.
