Best staff!Posted Nov 26, 2013
The staff at this hotel were the kindest and most helpful that we encountered on our 2 week road trip. Alan and Cindy were wonderful on the day we arrived and the two gals who were working the desk the day we left were exceptional. Microtel of Charleston WV should be proud to have them in their service.

Pros: Price was good, service was excellent and friendly.Staff did a great job taking care of my family.
Cons: Washer and dryer didnt work well.
Location: Charleston WV. Kanawha State Park was amazing this time of year (NOV)
We were booked at a different hotel which was under construction, had to change reservations at the last minute. Microtel staff were all very friendly, made one of our two rooms a suite no extra charge to accomodate us better. Gave us good tips for local restaurants and stores. Treated us like they knew us personally.

Simple but gets the job done.Posted Oct 20, 2013
This was my first experience at a Microtel but I was so pleased. My husband and I were on a road trip and only needed to stay the night and microtel provided all we needed: a nice clean comfortable place to stay for the night and a breakfast to get us going the next morning. The staff was so kind. If we are driving through charleston wuv again. We will would def stay there again

We just spent overnite as we were traveling from Va to Indiana. It was a nice place for an overnite stay. Our room was very small but for just overnite it was fine. It had everything needed for overnite.

Very disappointed.Posted Oct 14, 2013
Location: Bad part of town.
We booked this one-night stay on the way to somewhere else. It was in a very seedy part of town, perhaps the industrial area. We were hungry but chose to stay in our room and eat snacks rather than go out to eat in that area. The hall carpets were dirty and the room was barely okay. I can safely say we will never stay in a Microtel ever again.

We were very pleased with our stay here. The room was smaller than I had expected but wasn't really a problem. Very comfortable room and very pleasant staff (evening and morning). Would stay there again.

Microtel Inn reviewPosted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed in the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston South for an overnight only stay recently. Was very pleased with the service at check in and the comfort of the room. The queen size bed was very comfortable and aside from the room being a little small it was an overall good experience. The continental breakfast could have offered a little more I think but then again I'm partial to breakfast anyway.

This was a great place, close to the interstate and a perfect place to sleep on a long road trip. Friendly staff, clean rooms, a great choice!

Aptly named: MicroPosted Aug 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was very small but servicable and clean, with a mini fridge. Continental breakfast room had only 3 tables for the whole motel. Also Micro.
