“Run down, dirty.”
The only positive things I can say about this hotel is the staff was great, price, and proximity of food. I doubt the carpet has ever been cleaned. I was hoping I could stay close to Charleston, however, due to my companies low per diem, I will have to start staying nearer to Summerville.
“just impressed, exceded my expectations”
Don't understand what others want. This a perfectly clean, nice motel, and a cheap one at that.
“Pretty nice for the price”
This Hotel was pretty nice. It appeared to have been possibly a REALLY nice hotel when it was 1st built. It is in a very good location, within 10 to 15 mins of everywhere we went, aquarium, downtown, patriots point, etc. Really nice pool, but terrible TVs with very basic cable channels. Overall, for the money, I couldn't have been happier with the room and service that we recieved. Super friendly front desk personel!
“Will never go back”
Roach motel for beer drinking.
“It was convenient”
Staff was friendly and knowledgable about the area.
“Will Return”
I ask for clean towels and never received them.
“Better than expected”
I had read bad reviews about the place so I was a bit leary. It was much nicer than expected. The room was clean and the hotel staff was very helpful.
“Be afraid. be very afraid.”
I travel at least once a week for business and this was the worst hotel I've ever seen. We arrived to find a group of drunken men hanging in front and on the balcony, and because of previous bad experiences, requested a second floor room for safety's sake. They were unable to accomodate us, and assigned us a room in the middle of the very loud, very drunken group. We went and looked at the room- it smelled bad and looked worse- we were afraid to stay in it and immediately checked out and took a room at a neghboring chain hotel that we knew was clean and safe. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone and feel the money lost was minor compared to feeling safe for the 3 nights we were supposed to be checked into this hotel.
“Needs to be repriced or replaced on Expedias "special price list"”
The price sounded reasonable, however, once in the room,it was not worth 1/2 of what we paid. window curtains, bedding and towels -- extremely dated. We saw a cockroach in one corner of a wall. Staff were helpful and courteous. I looked on the Expedia webcite for the review of this hotel and it was very negative; but had already paid for it. Well, it was a gamble and we lost this one.
“BUGS in room”
location good, service good, condition good comfort and cleanliness Not!
