This is an outstanding hotel. The entire staff is well trained, and highly motivated, and the property is in excellent condition, and immaculately clean. Our one night stay was an excellent experience. The hotel's location is central to most opportunities in downtown Charleston.

“Planter's Inn......Not your ordinary peanut!”

Nothing but a wonderful experience! From the Serta Perfect Sleeper King bed, to the extra large bathroom, to the wonderful staff...ALL PERFECT!!! Eat at the Penninsula Grill next door! Pricey, but WELL WORTH IT!!! Get the grass fed Filet! Melts in your mouth like a "Hot Now" Krispy Kreme Doughnut!!! And, don't forget about the 7-Layer Coconut Cake!!! This is a VERY nice restaurant, so men should wear slacks and a nice shirt. Many also wore sport coats, as well. Eat outside (first come first served) if available and not hot outside.....it is quite a nice experience!

“Fantastic getaway”

The Hotel is lovely, perfectly located, and comfortable. It's in the middle of everything, but manages to be quite quiet. The courtyard and balconies are a treat. But I would say that the most memorable aspect of the Planters Inn was the staff. Always pleasant helpful and knowledgable. I would like especially to complement the breakfast servers who were very professional, gracious and made each breakfast a pleasure.
