the nightmare

Pros: Needs a lot of new supervision. I tried to contact the Office Manager and told they were not there at 930 am 7/27/15
Cons: Staff over hall
Location: It is my childhood home town
At check in the staff tried to put my daughter in a one bed with three children. and if I was not there to get it right that was the way it would have been. the first night the door key card did not work at 10 pm we are trying to get that resolved the next nightmare was when they did not clean the room and all the soiled towels were still on the floor the night we returned. my Daughter had to go ask for clean towels for four people. the door card was a mainenance card that my daughter opened the wrong door with her card thinking it was her room, it still opened her room. that could have been bad there was a man in the bathroom and she apologized and quickly back out of his room. I think this Red Roof Inn Charleston deserve a big fat (F) failure in customer service. and I will never stay at another RED ROOF INN

Nice stop at 1/2 way point

Pros: Clean rooms, wooden floors, rate and location. Staff was great.
Cons: Directions on how to access parking lot. Went to the Wendy's parking lot in front of Hotel first. Not a biggie.
Location was just off the Interstate. A few choice restaurants near by. Staff ( Kira) was excellent. Rooms were clean and just what we needed without the fluff. Like the wood floors. Rates were great. Stop in Charleston at least once a year as our 1/2 way point. We definitely stay here again.

I stay here 2 times a year. This has been the worst. My door into my room was broken and I told them and they did nothing .the clerk was new and had no idea how to check people in or out.

Pros: Location
Cons: Better air.
The air condishner was inadequate and room was warm at night. very small shower/toilet area. Had to ask for towels and toilet tissue.

Cons: Clean it thoroughly, completely and multiple times. Needs to be gone over by a professional cleaning company.
The staff were friendly and check in was a breeze, however - the room was dirty! The floor was filthy, it had not been mopped! Behind the refrigerator was extremely dirty, full of dust bunnies, items missed from being swept and BUGS! The bedspread was stained. I took off my shoes when I arrived and by the time I had walked from the door to the bathroom and sat on the bed, my feet were black with dirt. If I wasn't so tired and just staying for one night, I would have left and checked in elsewhere. A true disappointment.

The hotel was Terrible! Dirty room. The staff cut a lot of corners. I would never go back there or recommend the hotel. They make it look not on the pictures but don't be fooled!

Red Roof Inn,staff very nice and helpful!

Pros: very clean,close to everything!
Cons: Needs sign outside to let you know to get into motel entrance,took a long time to figure how to get to motel,needs a coffee pot in room.
Location: location was great,close to restaurants in walking distance,so many choices to choose from.
Nice but could have had a closet with extra blankets and pillows.Should have iron and ironing board!

The room was very clean and updated. Flat screen tv was great. Our fridge didn't work but everything else was great! Will definetly stay again if I am in the area.
