“Always Our Choice!”

We love staying at the Red Roof Patriot's Point! It has the best and most central location, right in between downtown and the beach. Also we always have a wonderful and friendly staff, and it is a great value! It also backs up to a nice residential pond which makes it pleasing and quite!

“Very nice for the price.”

Although it wasn't super fancy or anything this hotel was super clean, and nice. The beds were very comfortable, and our room was spotless. They were in the process of redoing what looked like all the rooms. Our room had already been redone. The new rooms are decorated in a cheerful modern type scheme. It felt like all the class of a more upscale hotel, but on a normal family budget. Check in and check out were the only times we actually talked to anyone from the hotel, but they were friendly and quick. And the location was very close to downtown. We will definately use this hotel again.

“I was impressed!”

The location of the hotel offered a quick and convenient trip to downtown Charleston without the hassel of a high traffic area and lots of congestion. The hotel has been newly redone and the rooms are very neat and appealing. The only disappointment I had with the hotel was the unheated and very cold pool.

“Great value - clean room, comfortable bed.”

I was pleasantly surprised by the room based on the cost. The location was extremely convenient and the room was nice. There is a water taxi right down the road that takes you to Charleston proper.

“beautiful and well kept rooms and great service ...AAAA++++”

we found the room to be spacious, very clean, possibly recently renovated ... nice pictures on the walls, interestinf architecture and style ... the service people were quick to bring a surplus of extra towels, signing in was very simple ... everyone we spoke to that worked there were very very friendly and down to earth ... you get the feeling that the owner of the establishment REALLY wants to make a lasting impression and they did for us ...

“Great Location, Good Price”

Great location. Short drive over the new bridge to downtown and its a short distance from the beaches on Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms. Rooms have been renovated recently. Great place to stay for a long weekend. Would stay there agian.

“Who hangs out in their room, anyway?”

Red Roof was a great choice for our stay in Charleston. The room was clean and air conditioned. The bed was comfortable and we both slept like a couple of rocks! It's only a few minutes from downtown Charleston and you get the pleasure of driving over the beautiful Cooper River Bridge. Don't go expecting too much, but for a place to lay your head - this is a great find! My only complaint is that the door was a bit thin and you can hear people walking by before you fall asleep.
