Not Disappointed

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: Location, helpful staff, cleanliness, price
Cons: No suggestions.
Location: Not sure. Close to Charleston and the beaches.
Found out at lunch time we needed a place to stay before appointment at MUSC early the next morning. Didn't know where we should stay, but decided on here because it was not so far away from MUSC, and the price was reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The bathroom was huge. When we arrived, we were ready to find a place for supper, and "Sticky Fingers" was within walking distance. We had not eaten there before, but thoroughly enjoyed the food. We don't know the area, so this really worked out well for us.

Nice hotel close to downtown and The Citadel

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: Clean and updated room, affordable rates, conveniently located to restaurants and downtown.
Cons: Outside of hotel could use a facelift, coffee maker in rooms & didn't like that you have to pay for an upgraded room to have mini-fridge and microwave
Location: Close to restaurants, downtown and The Citadel. Movie theater, grocery store and Starbucks very close by.
Hotel was very affordable for just an overnight stay. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. The hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown and The Citadel. There are restaurants close by and also a movie theater less than 5 minutes away. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room, but there was a Starbucks nearby. Overall, I had a good experience and would stay there again.

Nice, quiet clean hotel. Definitely a step up from the old Red Roof Inns!

Good moderate priced choice

Clean tidy rooms with all the required amenities. Shame it rained so much, we would have loved to have sat on the park benches above the river and enjoyed the views!

The website was too enhanced.

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: The helpful staff.
Cons: The information on the website is misleading as to the condition of the facility while it did appear clean.
Location: Location is excellent with local shopping and dining.
Very disappointed in what was represented as a "deluxe" room. Staff on desk was very helpful and understanding when we requested the reservation be cancelled. Our vacation time is very limited due to our jobs and we simply wanted a nicer accommodation for this long weekend.

Standard Room is very basic

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: clean room, good location and quick check in. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Cons: Standard room is small. No fridge, iron or coffee maker. Linens were sparse. Ground floor rooms at the back of the hotel are very noisy. Cars and large diesel trucks park just feet from room doors. Pets are allowed so expect barking.
