“Pets should be free if room not dirtied”

This hotel was great but $100 to have a pet is why I will not go back! This should be a deposit, if the room is spotless it should be refunded. The clerk told me some who-hah about the city of Mt Pleasant requiring them to treat the carpets after a dog has been there. You know they do not do that. My dog is seven pounds, quite a bit difference than a 100 pound animal.

Area recommendations

This is a great summer location. You are minutes from the beach at Isle of Palms and about ten minutes from downtown Charleston.

“Good value”

Largest sized bed available at this hotel is a Queen -- no King beds at all, I was told by the hotel staff at check-in. This was an unexpected and unpleasant inconvenience, why I rated the room comfort a 3 instead of a 4. The amenities in the one-suite room we had included a

Hotel is in a convenient location for travel to Isle of Palms beaches/resorts yet still in Mount Pleasant. It is located in a newer shopping area. There is a grocery store within a short distance (50-100 yards) of the hotel, perfect for stocking the fridge in your kitchenette or acquiring last minute goodies before heading to the beach or daily excursions. Travel by car to downtown Charleston typically takes between 10-30 minutes depending on traffic.
