Really, it was a nice hotel, clean, the staff was verry helpful, and the bed was firm. It was an over night stay.

Great hotel, quiet & convienent to city center.

Clean, spacious, comfortable suite. Hotel is minutes away from Charleston city center and Interstate routes. Great breakfast. Will book this hotel again when in the Charleston area.

Excellent Hotel, a great value. I work at the Inn on Biltmore Estate and I want to say you guys have a very clean hotel, and your employees are top notch. You are probably thee best when it comes to being dog friendly. We had usually stayed at La Quinta, but you blew them out of the water. Your rates were GREAT for all you gave. The breakfast was outstanding (and so was the lady who kept it going!). You are a serious 6 out of 5!

Nice and Convenient

Pros: I like the location because It is convenient to get to and from where I needed to go. Also, it's very close to the interstate.
Cons: I think there should be a few lighted and larger signs with arrows to direct us to the right place. I had a little trouble finding the hotel.
As long as the roads are clear (no ice or snow), this hotel on top of the steep hill is the place to stay. It is clean, has free parking, free breakfast and fruits, all suites, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The hot breakfast buffet has a variety of choices and is always good but could use less salt. The hotel is also pet friendly. The studio that I stayed in is beautifully decorated. They even has a small grocery store in the lobby where you can buy microwaveable food.

We have attempted to have the signage at the front entrances upgraded, however the city ordinance prevents us from putting in a larger sign. Quiet, peaceful and clean!

Pros: Very clean and cozy!
Cons: Have a way to get a hold of the clerk!
Location: Not sure.
Only problem, when trying yo check out at 4am to go to airport no desk clerk around at all!

Nice Hotel, BUT

The BUT part has to do with a call that came to our room trying to scam us. The person claimed to be with the hotel and claimed all our info was lost in their system, he even used the current managers name. Instead of giving information out over the phone, he wanted my address and debit card number, I said I will be right down. I went down to the front desk and they had no knowledge of the need BUT stated this was not the first such issue like this that happened, a month earlier a guess gave info and their card was used by the caller. The girl at the front desk was helpful and apologetic, my attempts to talk to her bosses did not at all meet my satisfaction. The caller knew my name - how did he know my name????? I did not sleep well at all!!!!!!!!

I am sorry that you recieved a phone call that you should not have recieved. , I am glad that you protected yourself as any educated creditcard holder or any resonalbe person would do. We work very hard to train our staff to protect our guests and protect their personal information. I know that you have already recieved a response from one of our managers and you felt that their response lacked sincerity. Please know that we take this incident very seriously . We do training with our staff on a regular basis to train them to protect our customers. I have shared your comments and this incident with the entire staff and we have reviewed all the steps that we need to take to keep our guests safe from predators. As managers we always want to be there for our guests when they need us, I am sorry that we were not availble when you needed us. When I am here my door is open to the lobby most of the day so that any guests can come and speak with me. I have also shared your positive comments regarding your roomm and the service that you recieved with the entire staff. Once again please accept our appologies and we hope that you will consider staying with Marriott in the future. Sincerely,
