“Room with no view...”

Quite disappointed with this stay. It said partial view but there was no a partial view. It was a very warn room and not clean.

“Older but nice motel on the beach”

Older model on the beach but clean. Small 15" TV, and limited parking. Reasonable breakfast, and good staff.

“Seaside Inn Review - October 2011”

The hotel was nice enough for the price. The room was small, but located right on the beach. The continental breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. The room advertising said "Partial View" of the ocean. You could not see any of the ocean from the room, however standing at the door before you entered, you could get a glimpse of the ocean.

“Great for weekend getaway”

Only stayed two nights but for the price and location it was great! I would definitely go back again!!

“Great location”

Would deffinately want the end room facing the ocean next time, all other rooms don't really have any view.

Area recommendations
Isle of Palms is close enough to visit Charelston and the surrounding areas.

“Satisfatory”

The Seaside Inn isn't fancy or extremely expensive, so we feel we got what we paid for. We were rarely at the hotel or in our room, so it was satisfactory for us. The fire alarm did go off one night, but we didn't hear it for the first few minutes. When we did check out the alarm, there was no urgency on the part of the staff and most of the guests didn't even leave their room. I thought that this was below any hotels standards even if their is no sign of a fire. The room was clean, but we did find left over boiled peanuts in the rooms fridge from the guests before us. For the price, the time spent in the room, and being on the beach it was fine.

For the price, you can't beat this hotel. People were friendly and the location was ideal.

“Needs a Makeover”

To bad there aren't more ocean front options in Charleston, SC. The carpet was so dirty that we had to were shoes the entire stay. We even had to buy some shower shoes so we could feel clean after taking a shower. The ceiling fan had 1" of dust on it so we couldn't use that either and the entire room smelled like PineSol. We were happy to be at the ocean but very disappointed with the room.

“First Time Visiter”

The location of this hotel is wonderful! Just wish the owners would update all the little things to make it look and feel nicer. A nice coat of fresh paint and air fresheners in the rooms would help. Glad I got such a discount on Expedia or I would have never tried the room!

Loved that the beach wasn't crowded. Get a pizza from Mike and ollies!
