Just over great place to stay

“Good Place to Stay”

My room was very small but good for one person. The location of the room was not the best but I did not spend much time in my room, so the location was acceptable. The only negative is with the hotel's advertising. Every room does not have an ocean view. Apparently when that was advertised, there were no other buildings next to the hotel. Now, one side of the hotel looks down or into the neighboring VFW building; the other side of the hotel looks into the windows of the next door condominium. All in all, it is a good hotel with a great location in Isle of Palms and a wonderful beach.

“a little R & R”

This motel was exactly what we expected. A quiet, comfortable place to relax on the beach. We arrived early (before checkin time) by taxi. They let us check in early. Although the elevator was out of service the first day the manager offered to help us with our luggage. There are several places to eat and shop within walking distance. Everyone was very professional at this motel! Will definitely repeat this stay!

The room was really small, but the time that we spent in the room, it wasnt a big deal at all. Will stay there in all my returns to Isle of Palms

“Would return”

Everything was very clean and staff was extremely pleasant even making dinner reservations for husband and I one evening. My only complaint would be the shower curtain rod was bent and curtain kept sliding to center leaving water to spray out onto the floor!

“Great Deal”

This hotel wasn't 'quite' what was expected, but was a great bargain, and a nice surprise to find. The only drawback we had were the rooms were a touch small, but were still plenty comfortable. We were extremely impressed with the helpful and courteous staff, and with its remarkable location, on the beach and with the local shops and restaurants. We highly recommend BANANA CABANA for a bite to eat or a drink. We have already made plans to return next year.

Employees were very helpful & friendly. I liked the selection for breakfast. I liked the location to the beach.

Nice rooms. Carpet was a little musty, but besides that everything was great. New bathrooms.

“Superb location/adequate room”

The location is superb. Right at the beach and close promixity to Charleston. Will definitely book there again. Not one of your top-notch places but adequate for the amount of time spent in room. They could do better on cleaning the rooms. But overall, will stay there again. Very safe area, lots of Beach patrol. Friendly surroundings.

“Nice hotel on the beach”

Hotel is on the beach which is nice. The parking deck under hotel is only for cars. Suv's, trucks or large vehicles will have to park across the street or around the corner in private parking areas. Never had a problem finding a place to park when returning. Rooms were a little small for a family of five but clean. Swimming pool is small and only 3 1/2 feet deep but clean. Over all great place. We would stay again.
