a refreshing stopoverPosted Nov 2, 2013
My wife and I have only positive remarks to post regarding our stay at Sleep Inn and Suites in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. Sleep Inn and Suites is a new and modern facility that exceeded all of our expectations (service; cleanliness; amenities; meal plan; location...). Furthermore, we were located within walking distance to one of our favorite restaurants. If we pass through again, we will reserve a room at Sleep Inn; I know that we will not find a better place to suit our needs.

Comfy Cross LanesPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, comfy bed and complimentary popcorn and cookies in the afternoon
Cons: Polystyrene cups and plates and plastic cutlery for breakfast and room supplies.
Location: Close to the interstate and WVSU which was our reason for being there.
Very friendly staff and nice clean hotel definately would recommend. Location is out of downtown area but close to interstate exit for easy travelling around by car.

Nice big roomPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had come from another hotel, and the first thing that struck me was how much bigger the room and bathroom were. It was very nice - we were bummed that we were only spending one night! We were very happy with the accommodations, the breakfast, and the location - not far from the highway, and there was a Friday's in walking distance, although our service that night wasn't great. The only bad thing about our stay, and this is not the hotel's fault, is that there was a large group of teenagers staying at the hotel. When I took my two kids to go use the pretty small pool, they were all there, almost completely filling the pool, and they did fill up the hot tub. Although, they were fairly well behaved for teenagers. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had just a one night stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful. The internet in the business room was not working, but when I reported it to the front desk, they immediately spent about 15 minutes to determine that the router had to be reset. It was up and running in no time. The complimentary popcorn and cookie was a nice touch. This hotel was not easy to find even tho we had gps and it was close to a major hwy. The gps kept sending us in circles. Finally we decided to take the outer road and then reached our destination.

No complaintsPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a King suite. I'm used to a tempupedic, so I usually anticipate an achy body the next morning, That didn't happen- mattress was comfortably firm. Decor was nicely updated and clean. The staff was friendly and responded very quickly to our request for extra linens. Breakfast was adequate, if typical and crowded. Will definitely stay here again next year if we pass through again. Our relatives stayed at the Comfort Inn. That was dated and not dearly as nice,

The only issue was finding it. My gps had it located on other side of interstate. A quick call to the hotel got me there.....clue-look for the Cracker Barrel sign. Will stay there again on my travels.

12 miles from Charleston?Posted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was clean but small. Breakfast was very good. Dumbest shower design I've ever experienced in a hotel. The floor in the bathroom flooded due to leaky shower door any time a shower was taken. I should have looked at a map because it is not very near downtown Charleston.

Very close to casino.Posted Jul 8, 2013
The casino was just a minute down the road. The hotel was very clean, no problems whatsoever. My only complaint was that the bed was very uncomfortable.
