This place has bed bugs!!! We all got very badly bitten. So angry!. We have travelled alot and never ever had bedbugs now this has ruined how we look at travelling. I really dont know how this place was reviewed so well. Alot of things were broken or in disrepair. The shower was lukewarm at best, the shower pressure was terrible and there is NO full size bathroom. The sink is in the room. Very very small for a family of 4.

Room needs updating and cleaned. Carpets are stained. Dust bunnies all over the ceiling. Beds were comfortable. Smell of marijuana was really bad our whole stay of two nights in the hallways.

Stay was great. Water pressure not the best, but very warm/hot water. Which was great. Two of the ladies that work there that I encountered were extremely nice and helpful. This was my second time staying at Sleep Inn while visiting my son. Hotel could use some extra lighting in the back parking lot and some updating inside. Overall my stay was awesome.

The night clerk charged me twice for a room I paid for online and then it wasn’t even the room that I requested so we had to move to our reserved room. Got up the next morning went and got breakfast put my plate down to wash my hands come back and roaches have attacked my plate. I will not stay at this Sleep Inn again I’m currently waiting to get my money back that I was wrongly charged

Dear Cathy:We do have a policy regarding local guests that precludes guests from within 50 miles of the hotel from staying. Oftentimes locals will rent rooms for parties and other activities that interfere with our out of town guests having a quiet, enjoyable night.

Didn't realize this was a 2 star property before I booked but it lived up to its rating. Rooms were ok, the property itself felt very old and "worn out". It was o.k. for a short stay as we didn't spend a lot of time at the property, but this is not a location or property to experience "Charleston charm"

Sleep Inn is a terrific place!
From checking in to checking out, it was easy, relaxed, delicious breakfast. Clean pool area. Pet friendly. Grassy area's with dog friendly poop station that was extremely clean and convenient. This is only 2 miles from the Ashley River on Highway 17. It is the closest place to stay near Charleston. No parking fees. Clean fresh linen. Soft pillows. I was very impressed by this hotel. It was perfect for us and our family.

The only parking lot located in the back of the hotel was VERY dark, and as a female traveling by myself I felt unsafe. There were people sitting in the dark in work trucks and regular cars, so it felt eerie. When I was unpacking my car to enter the hotel I felt like I had to make a mad dash to the entrance. If there were more quality lights in the parking lot I would have felt a little more at ease. The elevator at this location was very old and you could feel it rattle while it made concerning noises. There was a bad odor on the first floor and it kind of smelt like mold and stale cleaning solution. The staff was nice and answered the phone when I called them from my room. The AC worked properly, and the towels and sheets in my room were fresh.

Poor customer service , unsafe conditions , faulty equipment. Plumbing, elevator not working. Only one elevator. Will NEVER stay at a sleep inn!

Got at least 2 dozen bed bugs bites There are quite a few section 8 folks living there
