“Amazing accommodations and staff!!!!”

My sisters and I took our mother for her 90th birthday and wanted something special. Our two bedroom, 2 1/2 bath suite was incredible! Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Staff did everything to make our stay perfect! Small enough facility to get to know the staff and get personalized service.

I can honestly say this hotel far exceeded my expectations. It was a little hard to find, but when I called they got me there just fine. The room was like a top dollar modern downtown apartment. The style, and layout of the room was amazing to say the least. The room had a full kitchen with all stainless steal appliances, grant counter tops, a nice island bar in the middle with a choping block on top. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and all the rooms has tall ceilings, and plenty of room to spread out. I always wonder if these reviews are from real people, I can assure you I am a real person with no affiliation to this hotel and I was truly amazed. Only downside is that they don't have room service, but the hotel is located next to a few restaurants and the staff gave me menus for each restaurant and offered to deliver me food from any of them. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would say you were definitely missing out if you stayed anywhere else. The hotel was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, and that is in comparison to 5 star / diamond hotels all over the world that costed 10x the price.

The staff were very personable and anxious to help in any matter, from dining advise and "getting around". The "little touches of wine and cheese and cookies and milk were a friendly, welcomed gesture.

“Hidden gem”

In the heart of downtown Charleston, the Restoration on King is fabulous. The entire staff was extremely helpful. The room was fantastic, wine and cheese was great, and the complimentary breakfast delivered to the room in a picnic basket was the icing on the cake. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Impressed with our room (201) and the attentive service of the staff. Location was terrific. Highly suggest using the valet service ($18 per night) as parking is limited close to the hotel.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with our stay at the Restoration on King. Although the price is a little above other hotels in the area, in our minds, it was worth every penny! The staff was extremely helpful and courteous throughout our stay, as though they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay in Charleston. The rooms are beautifully designed and very elegant. The "extras" included in the price, like the free breakfast and free internet service, put this hotel in another level of service. I travel alot for work, and I can say without hesitation, that this hotel is at a significantly higher level than you average hotel.

What a gem. If you are an urban typic that like hip and comfortable it is great. Even appealed to an 85 year old grandfather.

“Quality Boutique hotel in upscale area.”

Very nice hotel in a very upscale part of town. Easy walk to most interesting areas. Hotel is a well maintained facility yet the front desk staff could be more knowledgeable and helpful. Need to be better trained. I would recommend it for it's large rooms. I would suggest not staying on King St side due to some night time noise from bar hoppers. The room is more like a loft condo with full kitchen and high ceilings. Neat place and u get breakfast delivered to your room in a big wicker basket. Good service.
