Clean and Reasonable

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: I liked how clean and modern everything looked. Very up to date on all there furniture and accesories.
Cons: Room size. I don't know about the other rooms but the Jr. Suite that we stayed in was a bit on the small side. Still very cute though.
Location: It is in a PERFECT location. You can get to the historic Charleston in less than 20 min. Or you can get to the Charleston Colliesium in 10-15 min.
I got the EXACT room I wanted. It had to airtub. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. My husband LOVES there sheets. Very Cozy and Quite. Will defiantly be returning. The resturant down stairs has an amazing breakfast and serve lunch and dinner. Alittle pricey on the food but very much have to try at least once. Worth the money.

Room was like new, but technical issues hidden

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: the newness of the room & location
Cons: The parking is a bit weird for hotel entrys. The full buffet breakfast seemed to be an overkill and pricey..
Location: plenty to entertain you, not why I stayed there
The room appearance was excellent (like new), but the ironing board would not stand up on its own, the GFI in the bedroom tripped that controls the lights in the bathroom in the middle of the night and I had to become an electrician to figure it out, to take a shower at 5am for an early wakeup. The heat/ac either froze you out of the room or turned the room into a sweatshop. The shower was massive, but impossible to turn on without shooting water all over you and the bathroom floor. Get the mechanical issues right and the place rates a 5.

Great stay

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: clean, quiet and affordable
Cons: Expedia could have offered or given the option of the dinner voucher.
Location: Plenty of places to eat and great movie theater next door at the Mall
I had a great stay. Plenty of room and very quiet. I wish Expedia had given me the options of the whirpool room or sauna room. The hotel also offers free dinner vouchers if you book with them. I like it and be going back.

Very clean, modern, comfortable

Rooms lovely and new, all conveniences; crisp white sheets and comfy bed are always key, and this had it. Beautiful pool area. Breakfast buffet was huge and delicious. Lounge a little shabby, but great service. All around, would stay here again in a heartbeat. Excellent value for the price!

Great value for money

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, helpful staff
Location: A short ride from downtown. Need a car or taxi to get around.
The facilities were well maintained and the entire experience was more than worth the cost of staying there. A 10-15 minute drive from downtown Charleston.

Closest Hotel to Historic Charleston on NYR eve

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness of the place.
Cons: 24 hr access to fitness room, instead of posting closing hour of 10pm.
Location: Location was fine for us because we had a car, but would be too far from historic downtown otherwise. Not much to do in the nearby vicinity.
Upon arrival, we were cordially greeted by the hotel staff, the lobby and surrounding areas were immaculate and inviting. Although we chose this hotel by default, and it was the closest we could get to historic Charleston, we were glad we did. The room was clean, comfortable and the amenities of a Keurig was nice. The only thing I would recommend to the hotel, is that they should keep the fitness room open to access 24 hrs. Closing at 10pm, was a little early for me. If you don't have a car, this hotel would be a little far from historic downtown, otherwise highly recommended.

Very nice for the price!

My husband and I had a two-day getaway here after Christmas. We stayed in a Junior Airbath suite, and it was clean and comfortable. The bed was great--I stayed in it far too long both days--and the bathtub was very relaxing. The inn is a few miles off the beaten path, which was OK with us. The peninsula was just packed with tourists and the nice hotels there cost three times as much. We weren't super impressed with the brunch, which was $33 for two after tax. In fact, I was only planning to drink coffee, but when the server brought us a check charging us for two brunches I went ahead and ate. A little presumptuous, don't you think? That's really a small quibble about a great weekend overall.
