I'd go backPosted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Convenience, friendly staff, the fitness center, Trotters Restaurant, cleanliness and comfort of room.
Cons: The low desk and low chair make doing work difficult.
Just a few short, quick miles away from Downtown Charleston in West Ashley, convenient to restaurants, shopping, a bypass freeway and the famous Ashley River Road gardens and plantations.

Very nice, charming, clean, & inexpensive motel.Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: The southern plantation design of the exterior. My room to include the bathroom/shower. The counter tops were pretty.
Cons: Only piddly issue was the ironing board kept collapsing in room 251. The 2nd day the board was more stable.
Location: We bought $95 of jam, nuts, & soap at the Carolina Cider Company on HW 17. Old Sheldon Church was cool. Pearlz Oyster and 39 Rue De Jean were great.
We had a quiet, comfortable stay in the motel. The AC was quiet when it came on and did not wake me. The room was very clean and the remodeling work was nearly flawless. The breakfast was yummy and a great price. I've already recommended your motel to others and will book again. Thanks.

Great stay.Posted Jan 19, 2015
We had a wonderful time. Loved the room. Would recommend longer room service hours and a covered patio for your smoking guests. Besides that it was great.

Nice hotel close to historic downtownPosted Jan 18, 2015
The room was clean and comfortable, but one of the leather chairs was torn in several places. FYI: The breakfast buffet cost $13 and be prepared to leave them $50 from your bank account for up to a week for "incidentals" (if nothing used they return it... eventually). However Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay for the moneyPosted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: Great stay for low rate!
Location: Terrific history and outstanding restaurants and food in the area.
We were greeted with friendly and helpful suggestions and the room was lovely and immaculate. We may be returning this way next month and will, most certainly, revisit this hotel!

Clean and ReasonablePosted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: I liked how clean and modern everything looked. Very up to date on all there furniture and accesories.
Cons: Room size. I don't know about the other rooms but the Jr. Suite that we stayed in was a bit on the small side. Still very cute though.
Location: It is in a PERFECT location. You can get to the historic Charleston in less than 20 min. Or you can get to the Charleston Colliesium in 10-15 min.
I got the EXACT room I wanted. It had to airtub. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. My husband LOVES there sheets. Very Cozy and Quite. Will defiantly be returning. The resturant down stairs has an amazing breakfast and serve lunch and dinner. Alittle pricey on the food but very much have to try at least once. Worth the money.

Room was like new, but technical issues hiddenPosted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: the newness of the room & location
Cons: The parking is a bit weird for hotel entrys. The full buffet breakfast seemed to be an overkill and pricey..
Location: plenty to entertain you, not why I stayed there
The room appearance was excellent (like new), but the ironing board would not stand up on its own, the GFI in the bedroom tripped that controls the lights in the bathroom in the middle of the night and I had to become an electrician to figure it out, to take a shower at 5am for an early wakeup. The heat/ac either froze you out of the room or turned the room into a sweatshop. The shower was massive, but impossible to turn on without shooting water all over you and the bathroom floor. Get the mechanical issues right and the place rates a 5.
