Super Close to Charleston

Posted Oct 23, 2014
Cons: The fan made a lot of noise during the night, but it was minor and just turned it off
Location: It was about 5 miles from Visitors center! We just parked and walked
The hotel was great! Room was huge, bathroom had both large tub and glass shower. Lots of outlets for charging everything. Good bar and restaurant

Great hotel with nice location

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: the hotel was newly remodeled. They also provide a wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet for an additional small fee.
Location: Close to downtown Charleston and other area attractions are a short distance. Less than 20 minutes to downtown .
A very nice hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated with luxurious bed, free WiFi, writing desk and Keurig coffee maker. The staff are friendly and helpful. A laundry room is available. This was our first visit to Charleston and we would definitely stay here whenever in the area.

Affordable and luxury accommodation in Charleston?

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: Clean, quiet and updated. Bathroom was outstanding - large shower.
Cons: Traffic congestion on Hwy 17.
Yes. Outstanding room - clean, updated and large. Short drive from downtown worth the money saved. Advice: have a leisurely dinner in Charleston to avoid rush hour traffic along 17.

Very comfortable hotel

Posted Oct 16, 2014
We checked into this hotel for two nights in October 2014. The room (king size) was very spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The whole hotel is spotless and the welcome from the receptionists was excellent. The hotel is about ten minutes drive from the peninsula where all of the attractions of the town are. But I knew that when booking. The location is right on the 17 so is very convenient for driving into town and is right next to the entrance to the road which leads to the airport. We thought the hotel was excellent value and would recommend it to anybody wanting a lovely hotel at budget prices but wanting a luxurious stay in charleston. Highly commended.

Nice hotel 10 min from downtown charleston

Posted Oct 14, 2014
We enjoyed our stay at Town and Country. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was that our room happened to be next to housekeeping! We were excited to have an anniversary trip away without kids and wanted to sleep in however, around 7am up against our headboard wall was loud sounds and slamming and talking and moving things against our wall- near our heads. Needless to say we didn't get to sleep in as wished but other than that it was hospital.
