Splendid vacation.Posted Mar 24, 2012
Pros: The location, the people and I guess just about everything in-between.
Location: Very good.
The hotel and staff were excellent. The only problem that I would say would be that I believe there was not enough cleaning staff for Wed. and Thurs evening. We returned around 9:00 P.M. on both nights and our rooms had not been turned down. The woman did give us our chocolate and ice but it had been perfect the first night. Just an FYI.

Wonderful hotel!Posted Mar 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed at the Wentworth to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The mansion is simply impressive and the service is impeccable. Our room was quite large with a gas fireplace and a whirlpool tub. Each complementary amenity was such a pleasant surprise and breakfast in restaurant is not to be missed!! We will return to the Wentworth and we won't wait another 25 years!

Our Charleston Winter VacationPosted Mar 4, 2012
Pros: The Wentworth Mansion is immaculate, a very special place to stay. The staff is helpful to out of towners. We felt very pampered and well cared for.
Cons: I wish our room had been bigger now that I know that we had such a small one.
Location: The location was a little bit away from all the bustle of the shops and all, but for us that was a plus. A very quiet place to relax and regroup.
We had an excellant stay at the Wentworth Mansion. Upon arrival arrangements were made for us to walk to an very good establishment called Leaf for a light evening meal. Our room was very nice and comfortable. We did not have a room with a fireplace and we did have one of the smallest rooms in the mansion, but for just my husband and myself it was fine. The last night of our stay we had some problems with another party playing music very loud that we could hear in our room. We had to call the front desk two times, but it was taken care of promptly. All in all we had a great time in Charleston.

The essence of graciousnessPosted Jan 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is one of the finest hotel experiences I've had in many years of much traveling. This city epitomizes the kind of charm that one associates with Charleston South Carolina; the staff could not be friendlier, more helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the city. The rooms are gorgeous and extremely comfortable. And the adjoining restaurant, which serves a breakfast included in the cost of the room, is lovely, with delicious food and excellent service. Highest ratings!

We love the WentworthPosted Dec 22, 2011
Pros: The people who work there understand that you want that pampered service feeling, and they provide it.
Cons: The in-room safe battery died. The staff fixed it for us.
Location: Charleston is beaultiful and Wentworth is walking distance from King Street where the action is!
We stayed at the Wentworth Mansion for two nights and three days. We enjoyed a delicious gourmet snack in the evening with some nice wine compliments of the house. We loved the architecture and took pictures from the roof cupola. Our room in the East Wing was private and beautiful. We received lovely chocolates from maintenance, and the bellman Jared carried our bags in and out of the mansion with true Marine Semper Fi spirit. The concierge desk manned by Mark and later Christian was responsive and always very helpful and polite. Breakfast at Circa 1886 was brilliant. Don't miss the grits! Betty had us giggling in the morning with her perky delivery of sweet rolls. We felt like millionaires this week at the Wentworth. You will too. Live large and enjoy your stay!

Truly UnblievablePosted Nov 1, 2011 on Hotels.com
By far the best hotel we have ever stayed at..and we have stayed at some beautiful hotels. We stayed in the Mansion room. The staff is fantastic, the breakfast could have been a bit better, but by any means should it deter you from staying here!!! Truly unbelievable place.

Wentworth Mansion in Charleston, SCPosted Aug 4, 2011 on Hotels.com
If you ever wanted to see what it was like to live in the Guilded Age, then visiting Wentworth Mansion is a must! To see all the original Tiffany Glass art work is worth the trip! The staff was excellent and gave great attention to each and every guest. The experience was exceptional. The large marble jetted tub with complimentary bath salts, spa quality robe and complimentary inroom beverages gave me the "spa " experience without ever leaving the privacy of my room. But the best part of my stay was climbing the spiral staircase to the roof for a 360 degree breathtaking view of Charleston. Only a few hotels in Charleston have a rooftop access, but none tall enough to see all the steeples, bridges, and waterways. Can't wait to return!! Once you experience the Wentwort Mansion, it will be difficult to fine this type of the luxury elsewhere.
