An award-winning oceanside oasis, on the northern tip of the Isle of Palms, Wild Dunes Resort is a gated beach community comprised of the AAA Four Diamond-rated Boardwalk Inn Hotel, luxurious guestrooms and suites at the AAA Four Diamond-rated Village at Wild Dunes®, and a variety of individually owned and furnished vacation rentals. Guests of this idyllic beach resort near historic Charleston can savor over 2 miles of pristine beach, as well as a year-round menu of activity options. Resort Guests have access to the 3 main resort pools (one of which is heated seasonally), fitness center facilities, bike and jogging trails, and complimentary transportation within the resort. Wild Dunes Resort boasts two championship Tom Fazio-designed golf courses, a tennis center with 17 har tru courts and instruction available, a salon with spa services, three pro shops, resort shopping, kids’ clubs, and organized recreation activities (surcharges apply). With six restaurants on property, dining options include an upscale restaurant with coastal cuisine, a casual restaurant serving contemporary American fare, a resort market, a deli, a bar and grill, and a seasonal beachfront café. The Resort strives to accommodate the needs of the modern traveler. An assortment of convenience items may be purchased within the Resort from Hudson’s Market or one of our Resort shops. A business center is available onsite and guests may use the complimentary Wireless Internet access available in both guest service lobbies. In-room Wireless Internet access is available in the Boardwalk Inn and Village rooms. Vacation rental condominiums may or may not have in-room Internet access available. The resort is 30 minutes from the Charleston International Airport, which provides easy access to regularly scheduled flights by most major airlines. Parking within the resort is complimentary. The resort has a smoke-free policy that applies to accommodations, restaurants, meeting rooms, and resort facilities. To accommodate the needs of smoking guests, there are designated areas available outdoors.

You won’t even have to leave the resort. Wild Dunes boats six restaurants, a Dinner Delivered program for vacation rental and Village guests, and in-room dining for Boardwalk Inn and Village guests. Restaurant options include upscale coastal cuisine, a family restaurant serving casual and contemporary fare, a resort market, a casual deli, and a seasonal beachfront café.

-Sea Island Grill Restaurant and Lounge: Located in the Boardwalk Inn, the Sea Island Grill offers upscale yet casual dining featuring locally inspired dishes. Features an air-conditioned dining room, lounge and poolside terrace. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner year round.

-The Lettered Olive: Set in a casual contemporary atmosphere, The Lettered Olive features an array of delectable dishes that will be sure to satisfy every member of your family. Menu items offer comfort food with a Wild Dunes flair that is fresh, familiar and local. This restaurant is centrally located on The Village Plaza. Open seasonally.

-Hudson’s Market: Tasty treats and cold beverages are just the start. A gourmand's delight, Hudson's Market teems with notable wines, ingredients for in-suite meals and necessary sundries. Everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Located on The Village Plaza. Open daily.

The Sand Bar: Located in the Links Course Clubhouse, is a great spot for golfers or beach-goers to grab a casual meal during the day. Enjoy the lush fairway views while taking in breakfast, lunch, or an early dinner. Hours vary by season.

-Dunes Deli: Grab and go. That’s Dunes Deli, next to the Harbor Pro Shop. Offering gourmet coffee, breakfast and deli-style sandwiches. Hours vary by season.

-Grand Pavilion Café & Bar: The Isle of Palms' only boardwalk cafe. Open seasonally with a panoramic ocean view, the Grand Pavilion Café & Bar serves classic beach fare. Sandwiches, snacks, drinks and cocktails. Ice cream shop open in season. The Grand Pavilion Café and Bar is open seasonally.

Wild Dunes Resort is a paradise for visitors seeking sunny skies, the charm of Charleston, and a myriad of recreational activities. In addition to the beach, you’ll have access to tennis, golf and Island Adventures, Wild Dunes Resort’s family recreation program. For those wishing to explore within the property, the Resort offers bicycle rentals and miles of scenic walking and jogging trails. The entire resort is connected with bike paths, walking paths, and on resort transportation, making it easy to enjoy resort amenities without ever getting behind the wheel of a car. Note that while some activities are complimentary, fees do apply to some and to all water sport and eco-tours.
