“A Three Day Pass in Charleston, S.C.”

I've traveled extensively over the decades and feel like I can rate a room very quickly. This was a very good room for creature comforts. It was a suite with King Sized bed and included all the comforts of home: Good TV, small refrigerator, good A/C, safe, small kitchenette, wonderfully relaxing bed. clean and well maintained. My only previous stay at a Wyndam Hotel was in Seattle, WA several years ago and the chain has experienced several corporate changes since then. This was an improvement and an upgrade over the previous experience. A breakfast was served near the lobby every morning and was better than most I've experienced. The business computer room was near the lobby and provided access with printer and computer included.

“Clean and Comfortable”

Nice desk staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a light breakfast was well worth the price and this area has plenty of restaurants and is 20 minutes outside the city. Easy to get into Charleston and much cheaper than equal hotels inside the city.

We were very pleased with the hotel. The beds were very comfortable, and our room was spotless. Everything was in excellent condition. Breakfast was very good.

This is a nice place to stay. It was clean and quiet. The front desk people were very nice and very helpful with directions. There was a nice breakfast buffet every morning. Nothing lavish but it beat going out to eat breakfast every day. I would stay there again if the opportunity came up.

“Very nice hotel”

Our stay at the Wingate was very nice. They even had a small welcome bag and personal note welcoming us to the hotel. The room was lovely and the staff very friendly! The only down fall was there aren't any restaurants that were within walking distance of the hotel. We also had to leave very early so were unable to try the complimentary breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again!

“pamper yourself”

The hotel is decorated with Southern charm, warm and inviting. Large stone fireplace in the bkfst area / lobby and the lg TV above the fireplace only adds to the delicious hot breakfast every morning. The rooms are extremely clean and tastefully decorated. The front desk had a welcome bag with goodies and they stock items for sale, like snacks, drinks, food and various toiletries. It was peaceful and relaxing. I've stayed here twice and if I ever return to the area, I would definately stay here again. Well worth the value.

“Great quiet place near Goose Creek Navy Facility”

The hotel was great. We did have a little trouble with housekeeping on days 2 and 3 and after bringing our concern to the attention of the staff it was quickly corrected. Great breakfast and very quiet. The pool is small and could use some better upkeep, overwise good overall value and location to our son who is at Goose Creek in the Navy.

“Reasonable Price, Excellent Comfort , Great Locatiion!!!!!”

The Hotel offered the necessary amenities to make traveling on a budget convenient. The hotel is approximately 10-15 min from downtown attractions and about 5 minutes from outlet shopping. All driving is highway which eliminates the stop and go hustle and bustle. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and clean. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers except for those who feel the need to stay right on the water , in the heart of everything , paying exorbitant prices. For my family and I we prefer to sleep in a peaceful quite atmosphere after we've endured the hustle and bustle and taken in all the sights. This hotel allowed us to do just that without breaking the bank; allowing more money for spending on other attractions.

We were very happy with this hotel. We got a good buy through expedia, so the price was right. Excellent breakfast -- make your own waffles always makes us happy. We found it easy to get in to Charleston and also found some good restaurants nearby in Summerville.
