Incredible Hotel!Posted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Just about everything - no criticisms whatsoever. The accommodations were particularly nice. We also enjoyed the veranda outside of our rooom
Cons: I'd like to see a little more options on their evening menu. The offerings were very good but the choices were somewhat limited.
Location: The hotel is just a few blocks from Market Street, Meeting Street and King Street where there is a ton of things to do. You really dont need a car.
This was a totally enjoyable experience from the moment we arrived until we (unfortanately) had to depart. We stayed in a Veranda Queen room in one of the single houses and the accommodations were excellent! The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and we definitely plan on returning in the future!

Beautiful boutique hotelPosted Sep 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for two nights over labor day weekend. Pretty much everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was beautifully decorated, the ac worked great (very much needed in Charleston!), the staff, wine reception, breakfast, all great. The room had a bit of musty odor when you first walked in. The were asking for $20 a day valet parking, however it was a weekend so you can just park on the street. Location was OK. It was a bit of the beaten track and a 5 minute walk to market street, but still not bad. Overall very nice and would consider this hotel again for a Charleston stay

great history, close to downtownPosted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: preservation of the site and houses
everything about this hotel is unique and beautifully taken care of. just a tip - request a room that is not along east bay street at ground level, was so horribly noisy that i was considering leaving in the middle of the night - sound travels in this hotel both from the street and from the other rooms, what i was hoping for was a peaceful weekend away and it didn't quite turn out that way. i also missed the small touches such as a simple pen and paper to right on. the 'happy hour' was great and a nice touch.

Zero George is very cool. Nice people, beautiful 1840's homes restored into a gorgeous contemporary boutique hotel. I love it!

This hotel is a gem.i was looking for a romatic getaway when i booked this property. We stayed in the garden suite absoulty beautiful. The wine and cheese social is a must to do while staying at this property. The prosciutto the staff serves is amazing. We where arriving late and I called the property and spoke with John and expressed what i was trying to achieve on this three day getaway and John went above and beyond my expectations. The staff is absoulty professionals. The property is a 15 minute walk to the battery and a 10 minute walk to the resturants and rooftop bars. Any time I go to Charelston I will only stay Zero George Street.Thank you John and the rest of the staff for our wonderful weekend.
