We were in Charlevoix to visit friends who happen to live nearby your hotel. Everything about the hotel was convenient.Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Everyone seemed to genuinely like working at the hotel.

I used to own a home on Lake Charlevoix and have been searching for a new spot to call home… the Pointes North Inn will be my new destination! The Inn is beautifulled appointed, we stayed in rm 105 which is particularly comfortable and well decoratated. The location in downtown is perfect for all of your needs, they have a marina for boating, parks for walking, biking and strolling and lots of beautiful one-of-a kind shops. The staff at The Pointes Inn were very kind and helpful, the gentlemen at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile and welcome. I made a couple blunders with my reservation and the staff went out of their way to help me, they were kind & courteous.

I stayed at the Lodge in Charlevoix for two nights off-season. The price was very reasonable and the staff outstanding -- very helpful, friendly, and always willing to offer directions if asked. WiFi was available in the room.
The room was clean, well kept, with extra towels on hand in the bathroom.
The location was perfect - just a few steps from downtown, the harbor, shops and restaurants.
The only negative was the room lighting which was very dim -- no overhead light and the lamps had very low wattage bulbs.
I'd definitely return to the Lodge.

We were able to get an upgrade to a larger room at no extra charge with a closet to hang our clothing. The room was very large and the a/c in whole inn was great, we were there during an unusual July heat wave for northern Michigan. There is a small beach at the end of street, steps down to beach, on lake Michigan. Great location, right in town. Dining tips, The Weathervane, right next door, also in Charlevoix the Gray Gables, and in Bay View, a 20 minute drive,, The Terrace Inn, request a table on the terrace and watch the sunset over Little Traverse Bay, excellent white fish at all 3, a Michigan treat!
We would stay there again for sure.
