We had a great experience, I just wish they had a microwave in the room and the water pressure was better, other wise we had a great time.

The property was clean. We stayed on the 5th floor and the ceiling was plywood that was painted white. It wasn’t bad but made us laugh.

The hotel was very basic, no resturant, no hot tube. Just very plain jane. But beds were comfortable.

Kind of disappointing. My wife had surgery on her foot a few months ago and her foot was swollen and I needed ice for it. I had never heard of being charged for ice ? We also were charged $50. For some Incidentals twice which we never charged, when questioned they said they would come off in 7-10 days ? I certainly hope that they do. Just a little bit upsetting as we often stay in the Charlotte area as our daughter lives there. Thank you.

Great location. Clean hotel. Staff went out of their way to please us. Was given a room upgrade and cocktail for a birthday by manager. Definitely would stay again. Also provided a shuttle ride to and from restaurant

This stay was probably one of my mom’s last vacations out to Charlotte to visit her grandkids. I am so grateful for the hotel staff and their immense kindness towards her despite her Parkinson’s and tendency to be a little cranky.

You typically can't go wrong with Aloft as long as you aren't looking for full service. I loved the Dry Bar shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion; Aloft always has such nice amenities!

I really expected a little better from this hotel. The staff and the common areas were nice but the room left a lot to be desired. The ceiling looked like it was painted plywood because it was painted plywood. The floor especially in the bathroom was dirty and the trim was coming off the shower door. To be in such a nice part of Charlotte, I expected better.

Every time my husband and I go to Charlotte, we always make it a point to stay at Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne. It's very modern, clean and are very accommodating to pets. In case anyone is wondering, it is about a 11 -15 minute drive to Carowinds.
