WOW!! Nearly perfect. Indoorpool, Kraftraum, Waschmaschine inklusive Waschmittel und Trockner inklusive. Alle Extras, die man sich vorstellen kann.

Nice hotel, but bad time to stay

The hotel was fabulous, but there were renovations occurring at the hotel which resulted in my water being shut off for hours when I needed to shower. Other than that it was perfect.

Cons: Make sure to get a package that includes internet, otherwise you will pay $9.95/day for internet access.

Pros: The friendliness of the employees
When reserving the hotel, it was very easy to confuse the two hotels available for reservation on your website. While I intended to reserve the Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte City Center with the intention of reserving a hotel with an outdoor pool, I accidentally selected the Charlotte Marriott City Center due to the similarity in name. When I called in attempt to transfer the rooms, unfortunately there weren't any available at the Courtyard by Marriott suitable for our stay. I was also upset to find out that the hotel lobby was under renovation upon calling to transfer the rooms. Expedia should have made me aware of this because I would not have reserved a hotel that was under renovation. Wen entering the hotel, the self parking was confusing to navigate. The lobby was full of room dividers to block off the renovation, & while it did not look dirty & you couldn't hear the renovations occurring, it was still not pleasant to the eye. When entering the hotel, the self parking was confusing to navigate. The hotel rooms did not have refrigerators or microwaves available, we had to call to request a fridge. One morning some of our guests ordered room service & they were charged more for the food than the prices posted on the menu. One night a staff member came to our room, the door was cracked open, & he stepped in the room while some of our guests were indecent to ask us to keep the noise level down. Instead of knocking & allowing us to answer, he just opened the door.

Lovely hotel very close to Time Warner Arena

Pros: Very clean and the decor was nice.
Location: Time Warner Arena was the only location I visited.
A fantastic stay at this hotel. A very short walk to the Time Warner Arena where I saw my Barry Manilow concert.

Needed flowers for my granddaughter graduation

One of the staff, a black man I'd say he was in his 50's, told me about a neighborhood market name "Harris Teeter", a few blocks from the hotel, I walked down their (325 West Sixth st) got three bunches of flowers, he saved the day, all the staff I encounter were extremely helpful, great attitudes, no negative attitudes encounters anywhere the three days I was there, staff was well trained, but I think it was more than that, you've picked great people, it seemed more natural, great character, they liked their jobs, wish I could remember his name

Close to uptown

Expedia never showed that this hotel was under major renovation. The entire hotel is being renovated and not supposed to be done until December 2015. I wouldn't recommend this hotel until it's completely done.

Charlotte in May

Location: Just go out and walk around you will find something to do.
Great location, convenient for walking. Rooms were satisfactory. Parking an issue. The room card did not work properly entering or exiting the garage. Told staff and they were aware of the issue. They should have been proactive at check in and advise guests of this issue. Other than that it was ok. Although I will say the staff is one of the friendliest I have ever encountered.
