First, onsite hotel parking is way too expensive for hotel guests ($30/day). Second, we were kept up past midnight due to dogs barking in the two rooms directly across from us. We travel with our dogs sometimes, so having dog-friendly hotels is wonderful. And we understand that dogs get anxiety in those unfamiliar situations; however, most hotels we've stayed at with our dogs have dog-specific blocks or floors. Also, as hotel guests, we don't leave our dogs when they're anxious and will likely bark, especially in the evening when other guests are sleeping. That part of our stay was frustrating.

Nice hotel, polite staff. The parking garage is a tight fit if you have a larger vehicle (i.e. full-size, extended cab truck) especially due to the parking of other customers (full size SUVs in compact spots).

Excellent faculty! Loved the location. It is near many restaurants and the football stadium, which is why we were there. Excellent staff, lots of amenities. Highly recommend.

The Courtyard is a decent place to stay in downtown Charlotte. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the WiFi is good. The service we received was very good. The breakfast in the hotel is at the Starbucks in the lobby. The quality is good, but the prices are ridiculously high. For some reason, we received no housekeeping service during our two night stay. The pandemic is no longer an excuse!

I thought the parking fee was pricey. Great shower head in my room. Shower level was at a nice height....I'm a tall person that didn't have to stoop.

No hot water for a shower at 10:00 am 12-23-23. The mattress was worn out. We both were rolling to the middle all night. Hot rod cars outside burning rubber and revving engines all night. The staff was great, room was clean. The car noise is the entire stadium area. No hot water is bush league.

Front staff during at early arrival for football game were fantastic....they let us park, change& held luggage for us (they mentioned break INS happen in parking garage. Went to game, came back n room was ready. Night shift girl was pleasant and helped me with snacks & spoons. The 6am check out lady needs an attitude check & new job. She looked like she just rolled out bed and arrived to work. Her attitude was unpleasant but quickly changed when I asked what her name was.... Naturally I forgot but would remember her face. She checked us out on 12/18/23 at 6am. She wasn't busy & acted like booking through a third party was an inconvenience. The only thing about the room was being handicapped bathroom the water from shower runs out into the hall carpet by front door. Overall I'd stay again. I think the positives outweighted the 2 negatives.

Weekend Visit to Charlotte
This hotel is located in the heart of downtown Charlotte. It has a bar/lounge and good parking. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. There was only one issue and I am not sure if was older carpet or what but there was a mildewy smell that hit my nose as soon as I walked in the room. The bathroom was to the right when I walked in, but the smell did calm down as I walked further in the room. H2, Rm 248. I would stay here again. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location. Walking distance to BOA stadium and restaurants. Clean room, comfortable beds and friendly staff. The only negatives were the room was a little small for the two of us, and there did not seem to be a full service restaurant

disappointed this time around
Hmm, a rather difficult review to write. It's a small but usually (!!) ok hotel in downtown Charlotte, and that's its biggest plus. Front clerks were nice and friendly, not worries there. Roomwise, hmm. At first blush ok, but then some details were off-putting. Carpet stains in front of the sink and the sink was clogged. Ok, that can happen at no fault to the hotel or its personnel, but when I pulled back the cover of the bed, it looked and felt as if the linen had not ben changed from the previous guest! I just came back from another trip where upon arrival the bed linen was crisp and still uncrumpled. Not so here... Lets just say, I slept with my clothes on. I have been at the same hotel in the past when this was not an issue, and I hope it won't happen again.

The front desk was great. The rooms have paper walls. I heard conversations on both sides. The beds are back to back so my headboard shook when the kids next door jumped on their bed. The room next to mine played music so loud at 230 in the morning it woke me up. I probably wont book this location again.

I was sent a confirmation for a king-size room but was told that none was available when I checked in. Bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. Faucet was loose in the sink and spun around in the shower. Very sloppy paint job
