Ok hotel

Posted Oct 15, 2014
The room had these bugs on the wall they might be be stink bugs. We killed 7 before we went to bed. At check out time the front desk lady asked me how was the stay and I told her about the bugs and she said ( I know we tried to get rid of them but can't) WHY DID THEY NOT TELL US BEFORE WE GOT THE ROOM. we would have gone some where else.

The Exterior Distracts from the Interior

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: The breakfast: guest prepared waffles, egg and cheese omelets, oatmeal, cold cereals with milk, bagels and cream cheese, coffee
Cons: Discouragement of smokers hanging outside on the balconies, propping exterior doors that allow cigarette smoke and security risks to first floor guest
Location: Ideal economical location and easy access to the Vineyard event facility for weddings, banquets, receptions 160 W. Franklin, Blvd.
Frankly, I was a little uneasy as I got out of my car. Because smoking was not allowed inside the hallways and some rooms, hotel guests who were smokers were leaning over the second floor balconies observing newly arriving guests. Even though, my room was a nonsmoking room, the smokers propped open the exterior door to the hallway. This made the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway and a security risk for the first floor guests. Despite these concerns, the room, free breakfast, and staff exceeded my expectations.

Reasonably priced motel that needs TLC. Painting of the walkways and stairs would help.

First and last time I stay here.

Posted Jun 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Well, to start off the front desk clerk told me that my reservation had been cancelled, I don't know who did but I did not cancel it....They found me a room but it wasn't ready and I had to come back a few hours later to drop off my luggage....The hotel was under construction and my room had holes cut out in the walls where it looked like they were getting ready to repair the electrical wiring....I was only going there at night to shower and sleep but for 4 days straight they did not replenish the hair conditioner bottles....The "free breakfast" was terrible (bad coffee), the only thing edible was the cereal....First and last time for me, I should have booked at the Hampton Inn a few miles farther away.

Hotel under construction

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: It had a USA Today and free internet
Cons: Finish fixing the hotel.
The hotel seems to be under reconstruction which Expedia failed to inform me of. Also they seem to have long term residents living there . Light switches in the room were not working and some bulbs were missing. The staff was okay when asked for more towels and to please try to fix the lights which could not be fixed. Coffee maker was in the room but no coffee pot provided.

Change of Mind!!

Posted May 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
The poor condition of this hotel and the terrible surroundings helped me decide not to invest money in that area neither to move to North Carolina at all. I wasnt expecting luxury but I was expecting the hotel to be clean. That was not the case. Location its like a ghost town.
