“Great experience”

The room was clean and smelled nice. A little more than we expected for the money. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again. And a pancake house right next door if you don't want there offer which wasn't a bad offering

It was a very nice place to stay. Room was nice and people were very friendly. When I needed help there was someone always willing to help. I would stay there again and recommend other people to as well.

This is a good cheap place to stay if you don't plan on spending much time in the hotel.

Comfortable accommodations, inexpensive, accepts pets, serves complimentary breakfast, provides free internet. Bedding needs to be replaced more carefully, a lot of long hair found in bed.

“Functional hotel”

This hotel is nothing fancy. But it is a room and a bed and I got some pretty decent sleep here.

“A tad dissapointed...”

Hotel is convenient to the freeway, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had requested a non smoking room and was given a smoking room. The overall condition was just a little faded. Signs of life are here and there where they are doing renovations. Everything worked as it should, but... "With the lights out, all hotels look the same"

The people were nice but the rooms was in pretty bad shape. One of those places you keep your shoes on. Room and fixtures were very dingy.

“No Going Back”

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was good but everything went down hill from there. It is an old motel with heavy room doors that bang shut continuously. Our neighbor kept his TV on all night loudly. Another neighbor was talking very loudly while smoking outside our room at midnight and then again at 6am. Just after midnight we got a call from a very irrate lady who claimed her black bag was stolen and she wanted to know if we had it; she continued to call every room in the place. Then at 5:30am she went down the hall knocking on doors and demanded to know who had her luggage. It was a very annoying experience and we will not be returning to the Gastonia Days Inn.

“No place to write home to Mom about”

You get what you pay for when staying at this place. The rooms were atrocious but fortunately I didn't spend much time in it.
