“A place to sleep, thats about it.”
No fridge, no microwave, scum in the shower, very unhelpful front desk, dirty floors thru-out the hotel.
“good”
recommend it.
“good to rest”
It is OK for good night sleep. Continental Breakfast could be better
“You pay what you get for...”
Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, but not the best either. The hotel was clean and the proximity to most anything you'd want to see was great. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy with plenty of rough looking folks hanging around or strolling through. As a single guy who needed a place to crash, while on vacation, it would be fine. Definitely not for families!
“Noisy, Nasty, Never Again”
Greeted promptly in the lobby and given keys to our room & instructions how to find it. Noisy upstairs neighbors were not the fault of the hotel, but did go unchecked until we phoned the front desk in the wee hours to complain formally. But the general construction of the building, the doors, the hallways -- all a very noisy arrangement. Bathroom had recent renovations but was unclean & we saw a roach. We had a giant KING bed but slept little due to the condition of the mattress. Painted bath tiles were peeling, tub was too yukky to CONSIDER a bath. TV was annoyingly NOT the stations as per the guide so we basically surfed and got frustrated by that. Bottom line? We consider this stay a lesson in why you should spend a bit more for a good night's rest. We walked to a good restaurant across the street which was a little pricey but very well worth the money - a steakhouse.
“Not clean”
Close to light rail; however, that is the only pro
“good location, great price”
The hotel was easy to find, close to I-77, N. Tyron Street, and the Link train. The hotel ended up being very loud saturday night as people were outside of the building drinking by the glass doors to each room, and people were slamming doors. Other than that, the service and room were fine. The continental breakfast was pretty basic, but it was fine.
“Under achieving”
Alarm clock that doesn't work, old blurry television, although channel selection was adequate, pillows the size of throw pillows, no blankets. Will definitely not be staying there again. Food quality at continental breakfast left a lot to be desired.
“not impressed”
We had to switch rooms when we got there cause it had a funky smell and the TV didn't work. There was cigarette holes in the covers, cracks in the walls and sink. The bed was hard. Yeah is a reasonable price but I still wouldn't recommend this hotel. The floors were stained and dirty and there was trash in the stairwell and in the hallway
“Impressed”
Not bad for a two star hotel!

For local basketball fans, driving to the airport on Billy Graham Parkway brings back fond memories of the Charlotte Hornets and the old Charlotte Coliseum. After the team moved to New Orleans in 2002, the arena was razed to make way for commercial development. Nearby, the US National Whitewater Center is a top-notch water sports site.
