Nice hotel and friendly, helpful staff

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: We liked the friendly, accommodating staff as well as the clean hotel and room. We also liked the location of this hotel.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is to have enough beverage ( coffee in the morning and fruit water in the evening) at the beverage station in the lobby.
Location: There are several restaurants, shopping complexes, museums, and stadiums nearby.
On the day we arrived and registered, we were greeted by a friendly staff member behind the desk. Immediately, we were told that our reservation had been slightly modified due to the fact that they had a full house. They only had a room available for handicap accommodations, which fortunately, we had no use for. So as compensation, we received a voucher for parking in the garage for the four nights of our stay. Our room was cleaned everyday and we received fresh towels and bed linen daily. Because this trip was our first to Charlotte, we needed directions to take us everywhere we went. The hotel was close to the uptown area so we spent a great deal of time shopping, touring the museums and eating there. At the check-in desk, we were always able to get printed directions to help take us to our destination. We had an easy check-in and out. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in ALMOST the heart of downtown

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Location: It's in the heart of downtown so you can pretty much walk to about everything. If you don't want to walk, there's bike rental kiosk across the street
It was a nice hotel. They give you a free cookie when you check in, have some amenities for purchase downstairs. And have some complementary items. Also, it smells like berries when you walk into your room, what more can you ask for? Everyone was nice and everything was up-to-date. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave to store some water.

Disappointed (especially with price)

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Convenience (off Interstate)
Cons: Cleanliness of restroom. Parking garage charges.
Location: Convenient and t a good location.
I've chosen this chain because of my superior experience at Hilton in my hometown of South Carolina. I was wrong about the Charlotte- NC location. I very had noisy neighbors, There was no Free Wi-fi (I have no problem anywhere else), I had to use my own broadband and luckily did not leave it behind. The Shower\Bath tub was dirty; hair left inside. OH! But the only good thing was room service, breakfast was good; although I did not request potatoes. I was in a rush for graduation so I did not complain (and yes I was charged).

Nice hotel close to downtown Charlotte

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Cons: My only concern is that most hotels seem to be using double size beds in lieu of queen size beds, but it seems to be the way across many hotel brands.
We were in Charlotte for the soccer game between Liverpool & AC Milan. The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to the Bank Of America Stadium. The hotel was well staffed, well maintained and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived very early on Friday morning and the hotel staff very kindly put our luggage into storage behind the Reception area and then called us later in the morning to let us know when a room was ready for early check in. We departed a day earlier than planned so we could attend the Liverpool v Man Utd game in Miami on Monday night, there was no issue checking out early. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Pay for internet

Posted Jul 10, 2014
I had stayed at this hotel before but had forgotten that Internet was something you paid for above the room charge. That and parking really adds to the cost. I'd recommend staying closer to downtown or out of town.
