TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU DON'T GET. BREAKFAST WAS GRAB-AND GO-FOR REAL IN THIS DAY AND AGE.

Gee was the name of the girl who checked us in, Tim was the name of the Gentlemen who helped me out when we were planning on staying a third night. They were both helpful & considerate. That is about the best thing I can say. The cutlery in the drawer were full of grungy food, the shower head sprayed the entire bathroom w/ water, the hair dryer was THiS close to falling off the wall into the wet sink. The place smelled, it reminded me of a cheap homeless motel. No elevator. The grab & Go breakfast was not what I would consider a 'free Breakfast' . Other then check in & leaving, the front desk was never staffed! Went down to talk to desk staff 3-4 times & no one was ever there! The pool was brown & just gross. The area was mentioned in other reviews as being nice...?? It was at a dead end of a bunch of other hotels & office buildings... Nothing 'nice' about it.

Pros: Nice area
Cons: Hard to find room.
The Extended Stay America on Tyvola Rd in Charlotte, NC is in a nice area. We found it to be clean and the front desk staff are very nice. It was a little hard to find our room because of the way the building is constructed. The room itself is very clean, but the bathtub needs a good scrub with cleanser. Everything else was very nice and in good condition.

Cost-effective hotel via Expedia special dealPosted Feb 25, 2013
Pros: clean, large room + kitchen
Location: quite and remote from Highway. A great location (next to Hilton and Marriott with less than half the cost).
It is a great stay and the most cost-effective. Very big room with decent kitchen area. I will search for Extended Stay America in my future trips.

Nothing wrong, nothing nice... Descent room. Excellent for quick one night stays in between trips (especially business trips).

Pleasantly surprised at the great front desk service, the comfort of the room and bed as well as the cleanliness of the room and hotel. Great to go breakfast selection. Definitely a hotel to recommend to friend and coworkers. I would return without a doubt.
Oops!! Wrong Room.Posted Dec 7, 2012 on Hotels.com
It's located in what is called Executive Park - so you'd think it would be nice. No elevator - we were put on the third floor (I'm handicapped for stairs). We walked in the room -- oops, towels on floor, bed not made., etc. Husband went back down to get new key. Manager DID come up to check new room. FREE breakfast -- an apple, orange and a cup of three different coffees. Hmmmm. Next time, skip this hotel. The bed was comfortable - except one hard pillow and one soft pillow per person.

If you can't be happy at this hotel you will not be happy anywhere. Great staff, very clean, reasonable for Charlotte, safe neighborhood.
