“Comfortable place to stay”

This was not my first stay at the Fairfield Inn on Remount Road, and will not be my last. I travel to Gastonia for overnight stays twice a year, and have always been contented with the rooms, the breakfast, and the staff.

The hotel staff was very helpful. Our rooms were clean.

“Great choice!”

We were stopping for a night here on our family trip to Atlanta, so we had 2 small kids with us and had a very nice time. I actually slept in this hotel, which I usually toss and turn all night when sharing a room with my kids. The breakfast was very deluxe for a continental breakfast. We enjoyed our brief stay very much.

“Will Stay Again”

This hotel has very clean rooms, comfortable beds and the continental breakfast was more than we expected. Overall out stay was great. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

“Very convenient”

We went to see the leaves and to visit the Billy Graham library. This spot was very convenient to both as well as convenient to shopping and restaurants. The only downside was the indoor pool. Because it never received any sun and it wasn't heated the water was cold as ice. Although the whirlpool was very nice.

“Excellent Place to Stay”

Hotel is tastefully decorated and check-in was a breeze. Rooms are spacious, and there is an indoor swimming pool. Breakfast room has adequate seating, and US Today newspapers are available on the way into the room so you can read the newspaper over breakfast. Free wireless - easy to get on. Although TV was the older tube type, picture quality was better than average. Breakfast was better than the normal cereal-juice-coffee-bagels, with make your own waffles, muffins/donuts/bagels. I would stay here again.

“Great night of sleep”

My only negative about the hotel was there appeared to be some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Small, dark spots were several places on the ceiling, the condition of the rest of the bathroom was fine, so I was surprised to see this "mystery". We were just staying over night after a busy day at the zoo in Asheboro and then heading out the next day for more family adventure. It was very quiet and we were able to get the kids to bed around 8:30 with no loud groups in the hallways. Breakfast was great, waffles, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, toast, doughnuts...the list goes on. It was a real breakfast and satisfied our picky toddlers. Overall, our visit was nice and the condition of the room was better than a resort we stayed in a few weeks ago in Myrtle Beach!

The hotel was very busy for breakfast on Saturday morning. They were having trouble keeping up with the demand. But overall great!

“consistent satisfaction”

My family has stayed at the Fairfield Remount Road Gastonia several times. We've yet to be dissatisfied. The hotel and pool are clean; the buffet breakfast plentiful, and the the staff courteous and responsive. The beds are especially comfortable.

“Likely to Return”

The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that the TV was a very old CRT which did not allow external input. The only options for movies or anything else were the $10 rentals through their programming.
