Worst Hotel Stay EVERPosted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: Nice Lobby
Cons: Everything from customer service to room cleanliness!
Location: Didn't find any great restaurants near but some good discount shopping is close.
My job selected this hotel as all others in the area were booked. If I would have known this i would have paid for my own hotel elsewhere. Lets just I personally killer 3 bugs/spiders during my stay. The doors are so thin I could hear the Ice machine ALL night long as well as the staff vacuuming at 4:30AM! The staff was very rude during check-in. Couldn't even tell me a good place to eat beside KFC... This hotel is a joke! It looks nice when you walk in but buyer be aware!

Somewhat convenient to the ACC ChampionshipPosted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: the room itself
Cons: the staff
We stayed here during the ACC Football championship. It was about a ten minute drive to the stadium. The hotel has obviously been redone, and the room was small, but nice. Bed was comfortable. BUT the cable kept going out, and when we called the desk, he said there was nothing he could do about it. Breakfast was really poor, we paid for a ticket, which took at least 15 minutes, due to the backup at the desk. The lady cooking was all on her own, she was nice enough, but the food simply was not good, and they were out of simple things like knives, butter, condiments, coffee cups. A manager type person I guess was training the new guy at the desk and was totally rude to her new employee, barking off commands to him. I usually don't give negative reviews, but when my laid back husband is like "the staff here is terrible", I felt I needed to say something. The rooms are fine, but the management really needs to address these other issues.

Everything was great. A little disappointed that the breakfast was closed and didn't find out till we went downstairs.
