OK hotel. Room had a mildew smell. I've stayed in less expensive hotels that were nicer.

Room service is horrible. Walls are paper thin.

Walls are so thin I could hear the man whispering next door. People shut doors and the whole place rattles. Ridiculous room service is non existent and yet they say they have it. Front desk people were ride. I travel every week and would not stay here again. Horrible for a Sheraton!

Surprisingly Nice

Pros: Don't let the location fool you, this hotel may be in a somewhat rundown retail area, but the hotel itself is much nicer than the surrounding area.
Hotel room was nicer than I was expecting from the pictures. Huge king bed suite with lots of room to walk around. Check in was prompt and courteous even with my 2am arrival. Parking was decent considering the late hour. Halls and elevator had some wear but were clean and didn't look abused.

Just ok

small rooms for any more than two people. Friendly staff but not responsive to requests. Asked for an extra pillow.... No one came. Clean rooms and we'll maintained just off of the highway but over priced

Needs updating/customer service improvement

Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Room was clean and surroundings quiet.
Cons: See above
Location: Good amount of restaurants and close to a variety of shopping and the airport.
The room was clean and nice, but the air conditioning wasn't working properly and required maintenance. Even when the air cooled down, it had this loud whine that would die off after awhile, but was disruptive when sleeping. Seemed that the unit was old and needed updating. The front desk staff was pleasant enough on check in, but when asked follow up questions seemed like was impatient with being bothered, and when we checked out in the morning there was no request for feedback, like "how was your stay?" etc. Finally, we put our breakfast cards on the doorknob as instructed, two hours before the cut off time, and they were never picked up that night, so the breakfast we expected to have while getting showered/ready for an appt wasn't there. Just overall wasn't the quality I usually see at a Sheraton.

Certainly not a Sheraton level hotel.

Posted Mar 8, 2014
Pros: The staff was nice.
Cons: Remove the Sheraton name, remodel the hotel, but again I will state the staff was very nice.
Location: Not much but fast food around, stay uptown or downtown but not in this area.
I searched hotels for uptown Charlotte. This hotel tagged itself as uptown, it is not near that location and I was unfamiliar with Charlotte. Hotel is not in a nice area, the hotel is run down and needs work. Do not be fooled by the name Sheraton on it, I used to travel a lot for work and stay at the Sheraton chain and they were nice top notch hotels. If you are expecting to stay at a Sheraton level hotel find another place to stay in Charlotte.

1. the room was small and difficult to manage between two people. 2. the bar and bartender are surprisingly nice (even though the bar seats 4 people and is kinda tucked away). 3. internet... forget it. 4. pretty good area for food and things to kill some time.

Great rooms, rude front desk

Posted Jan 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Most comfortable bed I've been on in a hotel in a while. Very nice room. However both people I talked to a the front desk were not helpful and the guy working the afternoon was down right rude to the point I was ready to leave. I'm pretty mild but he had me ready to get in to an argument because he was so arrogant and rude.

Staff is terrible

I booked a room and was given a handicap accessible room. After calling the front desk nothing was done about this. I spoke with the front desk person 3 times prior to booking the room and asking questions and I received this type of treatment. The best thing about the hotel was its location to the LYNX system. I certainly will not return or visit this hotel again. Too bad the front desk staff didn't show any compassion about addressing our issue.
