I felt like I was in the scene of a bad horror mov

Posted May 27, 2014
My husband and I wanted somewhere cheap to stay after the nascar race. We got in late and were leaving early so thought we would be okay with something cheaper. WRONG! It was filthy, ghetto, we smelled weed everywhere, someone was banging on all the doors at 2am, the bathroom was covered in mold, the floor wasn't vacuumed, and there wasn't even a bed spread! We baracaded ourselves in the room using a couch. What a scary, sleepless night.

Freaky Two Nights

Posted May 22, 2014
Pros: The man who gave me my sheets was very polite and courteous.
Cons: The owners/ housekeepers/maintenance could clean up the parking lot. Cops could be called every instance of screaming, yelling, creepiness occurs.
Location: It was off Monroe Rd., easy to get out of town quickly straight from the hotel.
The parking lot is a mess, trash everywhere and it smelled of trash as well. Customer service was fair. Room wasn't disgusting except sheets looked unchanged, I requested my own set and made the bed myself. A non-smoking room with ashes on both sides of the bed on the floor. Toilet paper roll was almost completely gone, should have been changed out. Meager stained towels, one bar of soap, and a well used cigarette burned comforter. Shower needs a good eraser clean and walls need a nice coat of paint. But it was at night the true HORROR begins. Screaming guests, bass shattering window speakers from cars, curious guests peaking in our windows and knocking on our door. My boyfriend and I had our concealed weapons close to us all night. It was a horrible experience and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone ever until it gains new ownership. The ONLY benefit was the price was perfect for my two nights in Charlotte, but it might have gotten me robbed or even killed.

Sex worker hotel?

Posted Apr 30, 2014
I never mind a warm greeting from a stranger, but generally steer clear when it's a sex worker standing next to her room with the door wide open.

Good for a night

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Price.
Location: Movie theater.
This is good for staying one night. It's inexpensive and basic. It's clean and the lady at the check in was very friendly. My remote didn't work but I survived anyway. If I was staying several nights in Charlotte I might try to upgrade to another hotel if I was going to be spending more time in my room but to crash for a night, it is fine. I will go back when I go to Charlotte again.

Decent cheap hotel

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: Kind evening desk staff (working at 11 pm on a Saturday, I was overwhelmed by how courteous she was) and cleanliness
Cons: The rooms are not very soundproof--I was very glad I remembered earplugs.
The hotel is old, fixtures are ancient and not particularly nice--but I thought that was overwhelmed by the very courteous staff and that the room was actually quite clean. Good value.

Good enough for one night

Posted Feb 17, 2014
This hotel was good enough for a night. In which we weren't in the room for nothing but to sleep. We got a room with the king size bed the bed spread wasn't even big enough for the bed. I showered with my socks on bc the shower looked dirty. The pillows didn fit the bed. All in all I was not comfortable at all.

The worst thus far.

Posted Feb 17, 2014
Very hollow walls. You can hear everything going on either side of you. Very small room and bathroom. Just uncomfortable all around. Also hole in bed sheet! Although its cheap, wouldnt touch it with a 10ft pole again
