“2011 ACC Champions!”

Our stay was great other than the Shuttle service ending at Midnight, they offered us the telephone # to a cab service that was horrible, We had another Hotel shuttle drive us back to our Hotel since we were stranded at the Train stop. Needless to say, that "other" hotel driver was tipped very good for helping us out. If there is an event in town which possibly ends later in the night, they need to extend the hours for shuttle service. Breakfast was superior!

“Would stay here again!”

Great! Just past downtown and offered better rates and quick, easy access into the city. Excellent staff with great directional expertise. I observed Carol, who checked me in, answer multiple calls from the same lost guest and always maintained a patient, courteous and helpful demeanor! Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Excellent breakfast - could offer flavored coffee creamers, but the "cheese omelet", sausage links and fresh fruit assortment were fantastic!

“book it and be happy like me”

I liked the room, a suite and found it clean and roomy. The pool was good also and the staff was most helpfull. they even have coolers in the lobby for soft drinks and beer.

“will return again next year for longer”

I had a very relaxing, safe, and comfortable stay at this hotel. I would recommend it to any one who needs to get away and be pampered. I would also choose it for a buisness stay. They offer more than any other hotel.

Area recommendations

We were close enough to the Mall, Verizon Theater (Teenagers went to the Warped Tour) and all fine dining. Although we were close to all these places and more, we were still in a wonderful quiet neighbor hood.

My husband and I was so excited and very happy with the service. Location was great close to airport and shopping mall. We cant wait to go back.

“Just ok”

The staff at this hotel was great! The room size and set up were good also and the location is about 10 - 20 minutes from several different shopping malls and lots of dining. It's just the condition of the hotel is a little run down and old looking.

“Summerfield Hyatt was okay”

room was nice but bathroom a little out dated.. Definatly dont compare to the regular Hyatt Hotels

“I would probably stay @ this hotel again when visiting in the Charlotte area”

I would probably stay at this hotel again when visiting the Charlotte, N.C, area. I was disappointed in the fact that when I checked in on Friday 4/15/2011, there were no more rooms with double queen size beds because that was my request when making my reservation and my request was not granted or no accomadations were made to satisfy me in any way by the hotel. I understand that I made my reservation with Expedia but I still should have been compensated in some way. Also the breakfast bar should have atleast been avaiable until 10:30 and the staff should have been better prepared than having people standing around waiting for them to bring out a little of this and a little of that and still not having adequate amounts of food on the breakfast bar to accomodate the guest at breakfast time. It was suppose to a "Hot Breakfast Bar & other than the fact that the rooms had microwavves; I guess I would have been eating cold food.
