Amazing.

Amazing accommodations and breakfast was spectacular. Parking is pricey but it's per day, unlimited valet and guaranteed, so kinda worth it in a city atmosphere. Right next door to Time Warner Arena but veryyyyyy quiet! Studio King suite was amazing!!!! Will recommend!

Great rooms....check-in and out a nightmare

Posted Apr 20, 2014
This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Checking in and checking out is a real pain if you have more than just one rolling bag. I checked in at 10:00pm on Friday night and there were no carts available (they only have 3), and no bellman. There is no unloading area. I had to carry all of my luggage, etc up to the 17th floor by myself....made two trips. No assistance from staff. Checkout at 10:00 on Sunday morning took 45 minutes, as it took 15 minutes to take elevator down to lobby to retrieve a cart...15 minutes back upstairs, and another 15 to get back down. I did not try breakfast as it was served starting at 7 and I had to be on the job at 6:30. I did try room service for dinner and can recommend the salmon. The steak is tough. Valet and housekeeping staff were great.

A home away from home!

Location: The location is in the downtown area, but approximately three blocks away from the best part of town.
Relaxing and beautiful rooms that looked like small apartments. My king size bed was unbelievable comfortable and the staff was genuinely friendly, professional and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

A little gem in downtown Charlotte

Posted Apr 16, 2014
This hotel is only a few blocks from Tryon street. I was pleasantly surprised by every aspect of this hotel. The staff were extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The hotel decor (in the lobby and in my room) is fashionable and sleek -- European modern. The lobby area was very nice with a full bar, beers on tap, plenty of places to sit, and a few flast screen TVs. My room was spacious, quiet, and elegant (the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was updated and very nice, and there was a large flatscreen TV in the room). The room also had free wireless. The complimentary hot breakfast was great and very generous -- lots of options (including omelette choices, pancakes, potatoes, bacon, cheese grits, fruit, coffee, juices, etc). I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

UPTOWN TRIP

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: It's very clean, fully equipped kitchen, great staffing, convenient, beds are incredibly comfortable, trendy,
Cons: Parking
Location: A short drive to Fairview Rd. and you are in a shopping mecca. Ovens Auditorium for concerts, Discovery Place is great.
I love, love, love this hotel. Don't stay anywhere else when in Charlotte. Always having a great staff, being super clean and just overall convenient has me "SOLD" as a repeat customer. However, on my last trip (4/12/14) the parking was a nightmare. On a Saturday night with (3) concurrent major events going on and half the roads in Uptown Charlotte shut down and re-routed, they had ONE poor guy valeting cars. Cars were everywhere out front and lined all up the ramp that goes to parking area. Despite the horrendous working conditions that night the guy, who I wish I had gotten his name, was still polite and apologetic for our wait time. The poor guy was probably having a mini-meltdown on the inside but was still very nice about it all.

Great hotel for a quick /long getaway with friends

The hotel is located in walking distance from the Epicenter. The rooms are so nice and spacious. My view of the skyline was great ! It was a first for me , but after the wonderful time I had , it won't be the last.
