Outdated, tired, small beds and a tiny bathroom

Certainly not worth the money - plenty of other hotels out there that actually make an effort

Great downtown hotel

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Centered in the middle of Charlotte, the Omni and the staff were all very accommodating and helpful. Everything you need, from restaurants to entertainment, is within walking distance from this wonderful (and very secure) hotel. Highest recommendation!

Not a 4 star hotel

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Big towels, great water pressure in the shower.
Cons: Rooms need updating.
The main lobby is nice, but our room had not been renovated in years and smelled moldy every time we came in. One of the lights in the bathroom was burned out. The maid forgot to clean our room one of the 3 days we were there. Staff was very friendly, but overall, we were disappointed.

Stay at the Omni

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Its location. The hotel is walking distance from everything
Cons: For some reason the furniture in the room wasn't comfortable and the room itself was somewhat outdated.
Well the hotel is in a very convenient location. It's close to everything including directly across the street from the Epicenter. The weekend I checked in there were 2 family reunions in the hotel ballrooms so the lobby and front desk were always crowded. But the hotel staff were pleasant.

This hotel was everything it promised to be. This will be our 'go to' hotel any time we visit Charlotte.

Nice but loud

Posted Jul 1, 2014
The room was nice but it was incredibly loud. There was vase blaring from the club next door until 230 am. My entire room was shaking making it impossible to sleep. Not a good visit

Good for business trip

Walking distance to several attractions and restaurants. Thursday night stay in June, bands played on roof across the street until 10:30. Bed was comfortable but nothing special, bathroom was clean even if a little worn.

Pretty nice hotel, great location

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing in particular
Location: Museums just a few blocks away, many interesting restaurants in close walking distance. It's a pretty city, and a pretty part of the city.
Overall, we were quite satisfied with the hotel and very pleased with the location. That said, I've had nicer rooms in other recent hotel stays. The room was fine, nothing really wrong with it, just not quite as upscale as several I've had lately. On the other hand, at $149 for a downtown location, I probably shouldn't complain.

Nice Hotel; close to many attractions!!!!!

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: You did not have to leave out of the facility to get forgotten items.
Cons: The availability of Starbucks within the Hotel. Also, no food after 2 am when you leave the club scene.
Location: Centrally located to many clubs and eateries.
The staff displayed genuine concern about you, and your well being.
