Great hotel close to Carowinds

Pros: Very clean property. Good breakfast. Room was very nice.
Location: Carowinds is 4 miles away.
This hotel is very clean and the staff was pleasant and friendly. We stayed in the King Suite and loved it. We will stay again in the future. Our only problem was a broken iron in our room. Hotel staff brought another iron, new still in retail packaging, to our room within 5 minutes of reporting it broken. We will stay here again in the future.

Nice hotel close to transportation

This place has a nice and courteous staff. It was clean and quiet. It was close to the interstate and shopping. It was a short drive to the Blue Line Lynx to uptown Charlotte which we were looking for. I would stay here again.

Attended a wedding close by

Cons: Dangerous road out there! I wanted to go across the street to the shopping center, but even walking up to the light did not make me feel safe.
I had a good experience when I was trying to dry my hair and the blow dryer did not work. The woman on duty at the front desk responded to my call and sent one of the groundskeepers up to my room with a new one.

Pros: LOCATION
Cons: BREAKFAST TIMES WAS TOO EARLY,BEING THAT I WAS ON VACATION I DIDNT WANT TO GET UP AT 6:30AM TO EAT,AREA NEEDS TO GO PLATES AS WELL

Excellent for the price

Pros: Very clean. Nice large room with great amenities. Awesome breakfast. Super comfy bed
Cons: Lighting on the exterior of the building needs to be accounted for in some rooms
Location: Lots of restaurants very close, near highway, and a mall. We went for a wedding that had events spread all over found it a convient to everything
Clean large room. I was pleasantly surprised by the small kitchen area and powder nook. Very clean! Awesome breakfast! Only downfalls are that the walls are a little on the thin side and that the rooms on the front side of the building receive a lot of light from the exterior lights

Great stay

Pros: I chose this hotel because of the location.
Cons: A larger parking lot could be beneficial.
Location: It is very close to the mall and major highways.
I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities in my room and the staff was great! I was able to check in early after an all night flight.

On the way to the beach

No traffic getting on the road south. Parking a bit tight. Excellent breakfast and comfortable all around. Will be back.

Didn't follow through with promises

Ordered two cribs to be set up. Got two pack and plays not set up, one broken. Babies were on a plane all night, arrived 3am our time, needed sleep badly. Very frustrated. Not a good experience. We would have chosen a different hotel that was capable if we had known they couldn't follow through

Good price and location but some dissappointments

Pros: location and free breakfast The small refrigerator worked very well... ice cold drinks.
Cons: TV listings and operation. The shower rod may fall at any time.
Location: Very close to shopping mall, restaurants, and Carowinds
The location was great and the price was good. Some issues with the room... shower rod was very loose and the TV listings were not even close to what you got. We did have two HBO channels if you could find them. I asked the desk for a TV listing and mentioned that my TV acted strangely. The clerk said, "the channels jump around?" I said yes and he said, "yea we've had some problems with that, sorry, nothing I can do." I just didn't feel like he cared much at all. I did get good service from one of the cleaning staff when we first arrived. Our room only had two small pillows and I asked if we could get more. She came in and saw what we had, and retrieved three more right away. The breakfast was the best part of staying there.
