“Great Hotel for the low price”

This hotel isn't the best but it's good for the price that you pay. Other than the tub, the room was clean and I was very pleased. The staff was soooooo nice, helpful and very friendly. If you want a convenient, low price, clean, friendly environment hotel, this would be perfect. Whoever manages this place and hires the staff....TWO THUMBS UP!!

“OK for overnight”

The front desk clerk was very pleasant and provided useful information about taxis and the area. The room, bed and furniture were in good condition. The bathroom was worn and I would not want to use the tub.

“Charlotte”

The service was wonderful as were the employees. Very personable and good communication. Building is a little older and in need of some repairs but I would definitely go back.

Area recommendations

For Nascar fans - forgo the scheduled tours of the garages. They are not really what most consider a "garage" tour. You can actually drive there and go yourself for free if you look up the garages. Nascar Hall of Fame is awesome!

“Great Stay”

Hotel was pretty good for the price we paid. Staff was courteous. The rooms were very clean and everything worked in the room. Chose it because it had a fitness center but none of the stuff in the fitness center was safe to use. Pool was nice but the hand rail for getting out the pool needs to be fixed. Breakfast was ok the waffles were good. Disappointed becase they did not have a juice machine , tea nor hot chocolate. Not everyone drinks coffee. I will stay there again when I come back to charlotte.

“Don't expect too much”

If you don't expect too much then you can not be disappointed. Satisfactory as a crash pad for a few days. The continental breakfast left quite a bit to be desired.

“Good folks at this hotel”

This was my second stay at this hotel. It is very convenient to visit my son at UNC-Charlotte. It is a very clean, basic place to spend the night. The staff was very helpful, as I had car trouble on my last trip. They took me to a nearby repair shop, where my car was repaired without getting ripped off, as often happens to out-of-towners. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a place to stay without breaking the bank. Nice folks!

“UNCC visit”

The hotel is in a goo spot and it is within 15 mins of UNCC. Only thing i didn't like was how some of the doors wouldn't open on first try.

“Very pleased!”

Staff was outstanding! They were the friendliest and most helpful of ANY place that I've stayed. Bed was very comfortable and clean. The only problem was that there were only 2 towels in a room reserved for 4 people, but when we asked for more we were given warm towels fresh from the dryer (with a smile). Delicious waffles for breakfast. Also available was a nice selection of muffins, bagels,cereal and fruit. Several different flavors of coffee too. Wish we could've stayed longer! Thank you so much!

“Won't Recommend”

To start with, some services, like internet, were not working for a long time. One particular manager was totally uninterested in customers questions or problems. The location did not look very decent and the customers were mostly truck drivers or so, it appeared. There was heavy (cigarette) type smoke in corridor and coming on to room. No tea/coffee options in room. Overall, not a nice place to stay with family. But, if you are looking for a place to sleep during a drive, this fits the bill.
