“Great location”

I love the location. Easy to the airport, downtown, and any major highway; yet rooms were quiet. Hotel is tucked away in a cul de sac. Guest service let us check in at 11:30, even though normal check in is at 4p. Breakfast buffet was good, but below par for the price. Whatever you do, don't expect a good dinner. Everything my wife and I tried(on Saturday night) tasted like it came out of a microwave.

“Stayed at Better for Less”

I stayed in two different rooms at this hotel over a 4 day holiday. While this is a great looking hotel, the bed and a/c wasn't comfortable. So in my case one of the main reasons for getting a room is to rest and that wasn't a pleasant experience. My lower back ended up with issues and at night the a/c made the rooms uncomfortable. Again, I do like the hotel but they need to work on the mattress and the a/c.

“My Favorite Hotel”

I recently stayed at The Reniassance Hotel in Charlotte NC. I was very impressed with the look of the Hotel outside and especially inside. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff from the front desk, room service and the shuttle driver were extremely hospitable. If all the Renaissance Hotels are like this I will definitely search them out whereever I stay. I was sad to leave but happy that I had such a great stay!

“Great room”

“As Advertised”

I found the desk staff, especially Derrick to be very helpful. Because of my reason to be in Charlotte, I did not get a chance to use any of the facilities although I saw the pool and exercise room. I did use the Club Level room, however for breakfast and evening snack. Again the staff there was quite helpful and very pleasant. The room is as advertised, 2 distinct rooms, sitting room with sleep sofa (I did not use) and bedroom that can be closed. The lobby area is large and bright. It is 5 minutes from the airport and easy access to I-77.

I did not visit any areas in Charlotte with the exception of a large hospital.

“Very impressed”

I enjoyed my stay and the comfort of my room was exceptional. My only fault was that I could not get a late checkout. The reason give (big groups next day) was misleading because somethings did not start until 4:00 p.m., and my request for 2 hours would not have have been a problem.
