“Fair Value”

Good quality hotel for reasonable price. A little further out location from downtown and S Charlotte than anticipated, but that is not the fault of the hotel. If travelling in/out of Charlotte, very convenient to airport.

“Great Hotel for a 3 day Conference.”

The room was very nice. However the layout is a bit odd, with the 'sitting room' and computer desk open to a full length and height window to the hallway, and i was directly across from the elevators, so i had to remember after the maids were in each day to shut the curtains first thing upon entering the room. From what I could see several rooms have this layout. Room Was very clean. TVs in both rooms, desk in each room. Nice kitchenette. Bathroom quite large and well lit. Good Gym open 24 hours with room Key. Fresh apples in gym were a nice touch.

“Enjoyed Stay at Renaissance Charlotte Suites”

The hotel was very user friendly, from the informal check-in desks, excellent lighting, spacious 2-room suite, and transport to-and-from the airport. I did not have an opportunity to sample the cuisine. My only criticism was over the temperature of the room: with the temp control in the bedroom, the sitting room remained warm - probably needs some re-directing of air ducts, etc. Otherwise, it was a short and enjoyable stay at the Renaissance Suite Hotel.

“Great location”

I love the location. Easy to the airport, downtown, and any major highway; yet rooms were quiet. Hotel is tucked away in a cul de sac. Guest service let us check in at 11:30, even though normal check in is at 4p. Breakfast buffet was good, but below par for the price. Whatever you do, don't expect a good dinner. Everything my wife and I tried(on Saturday night) tasted like it came out of a microwave.

“Extremely pleasant stay”

I got in late at night. The night staff was extremely pleasant and courteous. I would have liked to have had more than a one night stay!

“Stayed at Better for Less”

I stayed in two different rooms at this hotel over a 4 day holiday. While this is a great looking hotel, the bed and a/c wasn't comfortable. So in my case one of the main reasons for getting a room is to rest and that wasn't a pleasant experience. My lower back ended up with issues and at night the a/c made the rooms uncomfortable. Again, I do like the hotel but they need to work on the mattress and the a/c.

“Very nice room, that's the only nice thing I haver to say”

Right off the bat the check in guy had an attitude told me to come back at 4PM to "see" if a room was ready. This was stressful because I really needed access at like 3PM but he didn't care. Even if you have prepaid there is a required deposit of $ 50 per night for "incidentals" they place this hold on your credit card card or if you want to use debit they want to put a hold on funds in your checking account which won't be released by your bank for 5 to 7 days. I left cash, that worked ok and I did get an immediate refund at checkout. But they did not even check my room for damage etc, before refunding my money which annoyed me because if you are leaving a damage deposit wouldn't the hotel want to check for damage before refunding ? annoying ... also there is a pricy hotel restaurant (waiter had an attitude) with a limited menu but nowhere in the area to pick up a quick kid friendly inexpensive meal. For that matter, no place in the surrounding area like CVS or Walgreens where you could run in to pick up forgotten items or little things you need. The hotel is in a business park, a safe nice area but not family friendly in the least as there is no place around to get buy diapers or other necessities. Would recommend for business travelers but location/hotel are not family friendly.
