“Best weekend getaway with the grandkids!”

This was our 5th or 6th visit over the last 23 years of marriage, starting with our honeymoon night. The fond memories back then of a grand hotel lingers on today. I would recommend it to anyone for an overnight stop before flying out of town, to an extended relaxing stay.

“EASY LAYOVER”

I had an overnight Flt and the hotel was easy for my early morning flight. It was also nice that when I checked in @ 10 pm I was able to get a nice meal and a good night sleep without any issues.

Front desk staff was wonderful, service at restaurant was great; Have never slept in a more comfortable bed, clean room.

“Great stay overall, few flaws though”

The Sheraton Charlotte Airport was good in many ways; but had a few flaws as well. Overall, the lobby was great and had a very elegant "feel" to it. Very pleasing to the eyes and ears. Even had glass elevators..a fun and neat addition to it! First, the hot tub did not work because it was out of service and the "service of the hot tub" was no longer available. For the price you pay to stay at the hotel, I would love for the hot tub to work. But, on the other hand, the pool and sitting area around it was beautiful. Next, WiFi in your room is an additional cost and can be very pricey for some. I did not feel the need to spend money on WiFi through the hotel, but I did use their business center which was great. Restaurant was also extremely pricey..oh well. None of the vending machines worked on any of the floors during our stay..very discouraging also! Location was another large factor that was great. Close to the airport with a free shuttle, and a short drive into downtown Charlotte. Lots of options nearby. Hotel room was clean, but still a little old. There were tiny price tags on bottles of water - $4! That was an outrageous price. If you stay here, very little is complementary. Be aware of that! Overall, good stay. We only stayed for 3 nights, but it was well worth it. I wish that there were more complementary things for the price you pay, and that the hot tub had worked to relax in! That was a large disappointment. Location is great and staff was very helpful

“great except for the sleeping part”

Staff very helpful. Lovely lobby. Beds too soft for real support; back and hips really were uncomfortable. Difficult to really circulate air, part of the room was cold, part was too warm. Fan extremely noisy; needed earplugs to sleep

“Sheraton Airport Hotel - Charlotte, NC”

Hotel was clean, service was great, dining was convenient and well prepared meals with good choices. Airport shuttle runs every half hour and you can leave your car at the hotel if you are on a round trip.
